Make sure you start out by reading the instruction! The cans screws in counterclickwise. Let me help you again by saying "the can screws in counterclockwise". Not sure why but it does.I'll do almost all of my own servicing on my vechiles except complete motor rebuilds and transmissions. I was a little upset though to find out that my R134 charging machine didn't work and I needed to get a different one to hook up to my truck. I was looking at getting one of the professional ones but I decided I would give this one a try. It is really easy to use and has worked great on servicing my truck so far.

Negative star on whoever put a second-hand sticker on the back of this box. Basically, you blocked the instruction with your sticker. Awesome job. Also, you have to turn it counter-clockwise otherwise, it won't fit. I also had a super hard time putting the can since the sticker was blocking the instruction. Pretty easy to use but you really have to read the manual first which is what my picture is shown. Also make sure you turn your engine on with a full blast of AC then read the level.

My 2015 Jeep Wranlger Unlimited AC went out so i decided to try to refill it myself because I tried to check for leaks but there was still pressure in my A/C system. I found a couple of cans of 1234yf at my local Napa, but they didn't have the 1234yf hoses in stock. So I decided to buy one on Amazon and after two weeks, I removed the pressure in my A/C and recharged my system from empty using just 2 cans (Instructions say to recharge while vehicle is running and until the pressure gauge is on the green spot). A few weeks later, my A/C is still in a good pressure reading and air is really cold (Thank god there wasn't a leak after all lol)!

Used this on my 2016 Honda Civic, I purchased the R-1234yf Refrigerant Opteon YF, 12 oz Chemours Solstice on ebay to save money compared to autozone or o'reillys' prices. I had 0 psi on the gauge hose, and used the freon. Got around 30 psi after emptying the can. Car A/C blows cold! This gauge tool with this refrigerant I bought worked great. Also there is two YouTube videos to show how to apply, using both products. Hope it lasts a while before my next refill.

This review is for the "R-1234yf manifold gauge set", not the "R-1234yf Recharge gauge and hose"The gauge set seems to be decent quality, but it is useless, because they did not machine out the the passages between the charging port (yellow hose connection) and the low (blue hose) and high (red hose).After figuring out what I thought was the issue with the gauge set, I decided to go buy a different set to confirm it was the gauge and not something strange with my vacuum pump or car. And sure enough, I was able to pull vacuum and charge my AC system.Learn from my mistake and instead of buying this set, go buy a R-134a gauge set from Harbor Freight and buy R-1234yf to R-134a couplers off of Amazon so that you can use it with the R-1234yf system on your car.
