I figured I’d give this a try when the vents in my car started smelling like mildew. I will say the product definitely got rid of the smell, but make sure you crank up the AC and leave your windows open for at least 10 min after spraying this. I made the mistake of not doing that at first & got a brutal headache from the smell. The spray itself doesn’t smell bad, it’s just really strong.

Need to follow the directions for use, it worked great to clean up the smell in a musty car. The fragrance was strong at first, then it dissipated. Now there is little smell and no odor coming from the vents. This smell has be an issue for about a month, no more.

I had a musty smell of mildew/mold from water build up in my cars vents. Tried a couple different tricks and products to get rid of it but this was the only one that completely eliminated the smell. It does leave a slight smell for awhile but it's a fresh cleaner type smell. It eventually goes away leaving your vents like new.

Purchased this ac duct cleaner odor eliminator based on the feedback of the reviews. Seems promising in the beginning but after a few days, the fresh scent smell is gone and back to musky smell. I went as far as cleaning all the vents with Clorox wipes prior to using this product and it just didn't last. Next step is too steam my entire car cloth seats / carpet and shampoo them as well. Evaporator has been cleaned as well prior to using this and nothing. Not sure if people are just writing a review based on one day or two day scent. Air cabin filter has been changed as well but nothing has really changed with the smell. Maybe there is another better product out there. This is a temporary solution product.

Our car is 15-years-old with 225,000 miles on it and the AC vents were smelling their age. We used this as directed and the first application was a big improvement. We waited two weeks and then did it again the AC now blows fresh air. One can was enough to do both times and probably enough for one more time. Highly recommend this product.

I would not recommend this product at all. It provides a very pleasant scent, but does nothing to actually REMOVE the odor. All it does is cover it up for about a 1-2 days. The directions recommend only using half the can. After following all directions and waiting upwards of a week, I decided to use the other half, since the odor was coming back. Once again, after my 2nd treatment, in 2 days, odor comes right back. There doesn't seem to be anything in this product that actually disinfects or kills the bacteria. I had far better success with just using Generic Lysol Disinfectant spray into all my vents, following similar directions on this can.Save your money, just use a Lysol (or generic) disinfectant spray.
