We have been using these since 2011 and have replaced them twice. Not bad for a pool float. We lived in WI when we first bought them so summer use only, but now if FL they are used all of the time. We feel lucky to have no rips (so far) after reading some of these reviews. We do leave them out (forgetful) and they get coated with salt and just look gross, so then we replaced them. No complaints though! Very comfortable. Easy to sit around in them and chat with others. It is hot here so we always want to be wet, of course! The cup holders will hold a can but it can be wobbly (of course, it IS in water) but anything larger than a can (i.e. tumbler, etc.) may be an issue. No big deal; we use the cup holder for sunglasses and lotion. :) We will buy again. If ours do ever rip, we know that Amazon will stand behind them if within the return window. For those of you having issues, be sure that Amazon is the seller; sometimes third party sellers don't always have the same exact products, which may result in a quality issue. Nothing against them, just saying, it does happen. Happy floating!

These are my favorite summertime Floatie. They do not last more than one season however. It you can get them for under $6 then buy them yourself. On here the go for $10 each but I get them 1/2 off on Black Friday. $6 each at Walmart

We have been using these for more than five years now. Each summer, we start out with three and none of them make it through a second season. By summer's end, usually one will bust apart at the seat, and two will have the early stages of seat rip. I've learned that if you inflate it to about 90-95%, they seem to last a little longer. I've also learned that if you keep the majority of your weight or body on the big part and just rest on the seat part, they also last a bit longer. We also do not jump onto these floats. For frame of reference- My family are all either light, athletic, or average build, the heaviest being my brother at about 170 lbs. The stress point is where the seat portion attaches to the main float, it typically rips at one side. Fairly annoying but not a deal breaker for us because the comfort of the design is better than any other seat styled pool float I've tried. Great for laying out while floating in the pool, even while laying on your stomach. They are relatively cheap, and I don't mind repurchasing each summer. My mom actually swipes these from us once the seat rips, she prefers the float as a horseshoe shape to float around on (it has little handles on each arm) because she uses them for exercising her legs and stomach muscles rather than just floating around.

Last year, after reading a zillion reviews on every floaty chair out there I got this one and one that was way more "high tech" (nylon webbing, everything was adjustable, fabric over plastic) and around $35. The $35 one? If I even THOUGHT about using the back rest part of it, I'd go over backwards into the water. No matter how I adjusted it, I couldn't use the backrest part or over I'd go. Gave it to some unsuspecting thin people. Maybe it'll be nicer to them.)On this model one user complained about it not lasting for more than a couple of pool sessions. Another user said the trick was to not hyper inflate it and it'd last all summer, maybe next summer too. So I did the "not quite fully inflated" in the sling seat part as advised and almost fully inflated in the arms/back part (this allows the hot sun to expand the float without straining the seams). Man O Man! This floaty chair is the Bees Knees, the Cats Meow, the best thing since sliced bread, the best thing since Amazon Prime 2 Day Free Shipping (which is insanely good in itself).First off, I'm a 5' 5" tall plus size lady, so if there's something tippy in the water I'm going to tip it over. It seems that most float rings, float triangles or float chairs are all made for children, or people who weigh under 150 pounds. Nice slender people. I got a triangle floaty thing (showed a lovely lady on the front of the package leaning back, in a comfortable seated upright position with lots of room on either side of her hips (she was probably 4' 11" and 95 lbs and on dry ground with water Photoshopped in). I tried THAT floaty thing. It looked as tho I fell butt first into a big flower pot with all apendages sticking straight up to the sky. It did NOT make a pretty picture. Thought I might have to cut my way out of it, but I didn't have my trusty knife with me (and no help to be seen). There is no substitue for this awesome and most wonderful of floaty chairs. I bought 2 of these last year, but one blew away into the woods during a fall storm and the other one is still needing to be cleaned up a bit. So I got another one (cause they are that awesome, plus I like the new color). I call it the Queen Chair (it could also be called the King Chair. Bottom line is that it's MY chair if others are over :-DSo how come it's so great? Well, for starters it has those 2 white handles so that non-slender folks can keep it from scootching away while we try to get ourselves seated and situated. Then you can safely lean back and relax, with NO fear of tipping backwards. And it holds you in a comfortable, relaxed but upright position (K, for you skinny folks - this is WAY wider than a stupid airline seat where my thighs are pressed upwards and folded in). It has a nice wide seat which should fit almost anyone that's 325 lbs or less. It holds you in a fairly upright position (important if conversing with others or taking a sip of wine now and again). It doesn't let you sink too low in the water so you can easily reach the floaty table for your beverage, or you can use the handy cupholders for things like cans of pop or beer. I use the lid of a cheap styrofoam cooler as a floaty side table for beverages - they are very stable due to the shape, very cheap and last several seasons.I don't know how this floaty chair works for slender folks but for plus size women (and guys too I'd say) it is the Bomb (ie Great).Oh, and did I mention it is "slenderizng"? Yeppers, you look lots thinner while floating in this chair. All that and it's under $10 bucks. Can't be beat, in my opinion.

The item itself was okay but the packaging misled me to think it had two in the box. only one so i was disappointed. Takes alot of air to inflate but its sturdy and thick, floats and I could put my drink in and relax.

If a heavy person sits on them they tear at the seams. Any change you guys could make a version for heavier people?

The Sit 'N Float is a total game changer for relaxing on the water! I recently took it out for a day at the lake, and it exceeded my expectations. The chair is incredibly comfortable and provides great support, allowing me to kick back and enjoy the sun without any discomfort. The design is perfect for lounging – it’s spacious enough to stretch out, but still offers the perfect balance of support.I love how easy it is to set up. It inflates quickly and is surprisingly durable. The armrests are a nice touch, and it feels very stable while floating. I was able to easily float around without worrying about tipping over or feeling unstable.Overall, the Sit 'N Float is the perfect addition to any water outing. Whether you're relaxing by the pool, at the beach, or on a lake, it makes for a super chill experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking to upgrade their time on the water!

Had purchased this floatie in a regular box store last year.Item held up well for all of last summer, once inflated the floatie held form with occasional touch ups of air. Unfortunately it developed a hole after using it on rocky areas at the beach. I did not have the opportunity to try the repair patch that was supplied when purchased as the hole developed into a huge tear before I could exit the water.Thought it held up well and have already purchased another. I enjoy using this floatie while at the beach or a friend's pool. The beverage holders on the side are a nice touch for times when you want your hands free and don't want to exit the water for a drink.
