I used the INTEX Giant Gator Inflatable Pool Float for a kids' pool party I planned, and it was an absolute hit! The kids loved it! The gator design is fun and eye-catching, and it was a huge hit with both the boys and girls. It’s really sturdy, with two heavy-duty handles that made it easy for the kids to climb on and off, even with the splashy excitement of a pool party.The size is perfect for younger kids—there was plenty of room for them to comfortably float around, and it has a 176lb weight capacity, so it held up well with even the rowdiest little swimmers. It also stayed inflated the whole time, which was a relief because I've had issues with other floats deflating mid-use. The kids spent so much time on the gator, and it really kept them entertained throughout the event.If you're looking for a fun and reliable float for a kids' party or any pool gathering, I highly recommend this one. We bought this to put in our pool to keep the ducks out of it. The ducks think our pool is their own personal pond and I’ve tried countless things to keep them out. For two days, these worked and we had no ducks but lo and behold, they came back. We had a problem with the alligators blowing out of the pool ( the wind) so I tied them down with some string so they could float around a bit but couldn’t float freely. I purchased a second alligator to take up more space and hopefully keep the ducks away but that didn’t work either.These are nice floaties for the pool. My 5 year old & 2 year old grandkids like them. The handles (4) are very secure and are on top of the alligator. They are very large and I like the details on the floaties. Good purchase.

Very nice sized and durable alligator for our Florida pool. We had a similar one before but the kids eventually killed him. This guy lasted through last summer and will come out again when it gets a little warmer. I generally consider any inflatable pool item that makes it through more than one season a winner. If you have big kids (or adults) that jump directly onto him a lot, he may not last as long.

Great Gator! We use the Gator for two purposes in our southern Calif backyard pool. (1) We use the Gator as intended as a float in the pool. It is well made, durable,a fun pool float, and has fairly realistic gator markings. The Gator usually lasts 7 years or more; this is our second Gator.(2) More importantly, we use the Gator as a "Scare-Gator" to keep the ducks out of our pool in a safe natural way!Every Spring, ducks decide to visit our swimming pool, arriving at sunrise or late afternoon, making a lot of noise and mess in and around the pool, and get our dog excited about the intruders. I position the Gator either on the deck hanging over the water, or directly in the water and let the wind move him around. The Gator is highly effective at keeping the ducks away from our pool. As the ducks fly over they see the natural predator below and choose to avoid our pool. Friends and relatives of friends have adopted the Scare-Gator method for their pools.

With so many choices I went with this alligator based on how many kids can play on it and the reviews which said it was good quality material and didn’t pop too soon. Well it did not disappoint. Everyone loved the alligator at my 11 year old’s birthday party at the beach. You can tell it’s well made and while I reminded everyone how to be respectful of the blow up toys we bought, it still got a LOT of play and held up great. Would def order again, but I hope we won’t have to anytime soon!

Well designed and well made. We bought this huge floating device to scare away the ducks who came to our pool. I had tried several methods of scaring them away, and this apparently worked (or maybe they just got tired of my incessant yelling at them for 2 weeks). Anyway, they are gone. The device holds the air, and it seems like it would be a lot of fun for children.
