The Invacare Standard Sling for Patient Lifts, Solid Polyester, 9042, one-piece contour sling design supports users from shoulders to knees, and is an ideal solution for weighing, transferring or repositioning users. Washable polyester material features brushed lining and can be used in wet and dry environments. Requires Invacare 9070 sling straps or 9071 sling chains. Intended to be used with the Invacare 9805P lift.

We love this product. It is exactly as advertised. My parent weighs about 170 pounds, and this harness has no issues. The fabric is thick and sturdy. The bars are securely in place by a thick nylon strap. They are easy to remove for laundering.

I use the product for lifting a patient out of bed in the morning and lifting the patient into the bed at night.I only wish that the linkage were about two lnks shorter. otherwise it works just fine.

Most important is that it fit correctly when paired with the Invacare straps. Our daughter, a former ICU RN, showed me how to use the sling and properly adjusted the straps prior to usage. No issues during usage. Quality of both the sling and the straps is good.

For the price it is perfect for most homes. It does not have any way to move the person horizontally but the assist from falls is invaluable.
