I've had this gadget on my wish list for sometime, but was afraid to complete the purchase because I was very skeptical that it could serve as a replacement for my current Audi AMI adapter. I needed to update my Audi AMI adapter which I had to connect to other cables over the years in order to use my iPhone. When I upgraded my iPhone to 15 this meant USB-C and all of the cables I had that were compatible with lightning adapters were obsolete. I wasn’t able to find an adapter that I trusted that connected from the 30 pin I needed to a USB-C that also provided pass through audio and not just charging. So for months, I have been without a way to connect my iPhone to the speakers in my vehicle. I also hesitated on this particular product because of its cost. I just did not think it would perform the function I needed properly and it was relatively expensive. There was also the question of whether I was buying the right model for my vehicle. It can be a bit confusing from the descriptions. As it turned out, I have a 2009 Audi with Audi Symphony so my vehicle just squeezed in to the compatibility for this model number. But you can never be sure.I am absolutely ecstatic to say that this product is worth every penny. Any concerns I had about how to install or pair it to my phone or my vehicle were instantly erased after I removed the original AMI adapter. I simply went to the Bluetooth set up on my phone and Invery was right there, the first time. I paired it without any problem and began playing high quality music through my sound system once again. It could not have been easier. It came with directions, but I never even had to read them. My screen looks as if it did before and I’m still able to get my phone calls as usual through Bluetooth. This is not my first time trying an AMI adapter from Amazon for my car so my surprise is quite genuine. No, it’s not cheap but it’s worth every penny. The music sounds fantastic. I’ve had no problem so far and I love it. If your car is compatible, I highly recommend that you invest in one of these for your new phone.

Update: I increased my score to 4 stars from 3. I have learned to adapt how I use my phone on the internal bluetooth and the bluetooth link provided by Invery. My Audi A5 comes with bluetooth for phone, but not for media. This adapter is intended to connect to the Multimedia system and play music (Pandora) thru the sound system.It did. I thought the solution was at hand. It needed me to adapt. After about a week of successful use, I was no longer able to make phone calls thru my cars system. Somehow the signals were getting crossed and the phone would simply disconnect after dialing.After disconnecting the adapter my phone system returned to normal.I did contact the vendor to see if there is a solution. They have been helpful in helping me findind a way to make this work. It does. If not seamlessly.

From the time I got my used E350 the BT Phone worked great, but the factory equipped BT Audio was missing from the Audio dropdown. After researching a lot I learned how to use the Engineering Menu to get BT Audio to show up. After finally getting the BT Audio working it didn't sound too good, for the most part the sound quality was much like that of a mediocre FM radio station (the CD always sounds really good, so I know the system is capable). I even tried various EQs from within my iPhone, but the sound never improved much. Also, it didn't show track info, just Track 0 and then +1 or +2 and so on. So with Lo-Fi sound, no track info and sketchy connectivity I decided to try this aptX-HD Adapter.This adapter works so well... I get in the car and just use the sound system and enjoy it. The sound quality is right on par with CD changer. I did find an EQ in the iPhone that dovetailed nicely with the overall sound system, that was mostly about getting the mids right making it easy to use the Bass/Treble within the system. I re-disabled the factory Audio BT and use this adapter, the experience is totally seamless, the sound is awesome, the BT Phone works just as it should (calls will fade out/silence the iPhone music, music resumes at end of call). There are $25 adapters out there, but they don't support the COMAND wheel for scrolling tracks or Song/Artist info, I never have to handle my iPhone for music in the car. So nice.

Worked as expected. Plug and play connection. Instantly came up in my Bluetooth settings and was able to connect seamlessly. I should have done this long ago. Can’t wait for the next road trip. Worked on on all my apps.

I have a 2015 A4 with Audi Concert and an AMI (I think it stands for Audi Media Interface) it's not an MMI car. While I was doing research on adding a $500-600 stereo upgrade to get my phone media, Spotify and Audible, to play through my car speakers I discovered this little thing. I figured the price was right and it would save me the install process.It's a great addition to the car. Simple, doesn't interfere with the stock phone call interface. Plays Spotify and Audible (streaming media audio as well) forward and back on the stock head unit work and the power/mute button will pause. It doesn't show artist information but if you use your phone as your main interface anyway it won't matter.

Doesn’t connect to car. INVERY costumer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced. Not helpful at all, ignores emails & accusing you of not sending them. Been asking for a refund since June. Amazons service was perfect and helped us out. Would never order from INVERY AGAIN

How can you not have Bluetooth in a car in this day and age?Well, this solves that!My Audi A4 Avant 2011 B8 has the Audi Concert - MMI 2G low I believe and when I picked up the car, I was a little surprised that it doesn't have Bluetooth to play music too.This device is plug-and-play and works perfectly. Easy to pair, offers great audio I feel and you can't go wrong. The only thing is that it is a little pricey, however without the need to power it via USB I feel this works a treat. Highly recommend.All steering controls and buttons work as they should. Its like the car essentially comes with Bluetooth now. Sits in the glovebox and is never seen, fit once and be done.
