I read a lot of reviews before actually ordering this. A few reviews said that it broke easily. But I thought maybe they’re pulling it or moving it at tension spot and of course it’ll snap like that. As long as you get the base of it, you’ll be fine. It adjusts itself as the water rises or lowers. The suction cup works great and stays in place. Absolutely easy to use, just stick it where you have a flat side and give enough space for the ring to rise and lower. It holds the food inside really well. I got this for my betta, the tank brought a waterfall type of filter and it was scattering the food all over the place. This fixed the issue perfectly! Great value for the money and it’s clear enough to where it doesn’t distract from other cool stuff in your tank.

Just received my item. Initial reactions:1) This is not as the pictures shows. the ring is standard clear air tubing. The ring is formed by attaching the air tube to a clear plastic coupler that has a ring that attaches to a holder (see below)2) There is a "U" shaped plastic holder that attaches to the suction cup. You then put the air tube connected as described above, to this "U" shaped attachment. That's it it is installed.Pay close attention to the "U" shaped holder, it is made of very soft plastic, and as soon as I installed the unit, it broke because I was pushing it to attached to the side of the aquarium. It still works, but not sure how long it will stay intact.There is a second unit in the kit for larger solutions. Since this is air tubing, you can cut it as you need, works the same way.Overall this is a cool product, you don't see it in the aquarium and it servers it's purpose.I am hoping I can get a new "U" shaped holder some how, or at least glue this one.As long as you know about the holder, this is a great product. I would give it more stars if I knew this ahead of time.

This works very well to keep flake and other food from flying all over, but after less than 2 months, the suction cup failed. Luckily I had some spare, albeit larger, suction cups. For the price of this, I expected the suction cup at least would have lasted longer. Happy I bought it, but just be aware of the suction cup failure.

Suctions works really well, doesn't like even being moved if your adjusting it. Let's the food reach the fish they swim right up to eat. Also keeps the duckweed from filling covering the top of the tank to make it easy to feed the fish. Works in my 10 gal and 6 gal.

I put this in my betta tank the first day I got it. Came home from work and my betta was stuck between glass and the hook/suction cup, DEAD. I can not even put into words how I feel about this. So I’ll leave it at that. I don’t recommend buying this.

I love this product! I have tried others fish feeding rings that were complete disappointments so I was apprehensive. Boy was I pleasantly surprised! So streamlined and so easy to install, great quality, adjusts to the water line and keeps my floating plants at bay so my fish can feed, and they know where to go. Also keeps the food contained to the point where I have noticed my tank looks AND is so much cleaner (less food in the tank and filter). We can actually see now when our fish feed and it's a joy to watch!

Great suction cup. Not sure why other people are having a hard time with it. When you get the product it says something about taking a hairdryer to it? I skipped that step and just broke off the long plastic piece. Maybe that’s why my suction cup is working. Perfect value for money perfect size. Great product. I actually went ahead and took everything out but the ring itself because it can float on its own and it looks even more beautiful 10/10 love this product
