I ended up purchasing this because I was having issues with my bolts going through my previous target making it difficult to retrieve them. While this bag is heavy, it is worth every penny. The arrows come out very easily and requires little to no force to pull them out. My crossbow shoots at 405 fps and this target is perfect for it.

I shoot a Barnett Hyper Ghost 425 crossbow. I knew from the get-go that the big box stores didn't have any bow targets capable of stopping bolts traveling over 400 fps. I checked and was told that targets were being returned because bolts were blowing right through them! I searched Amazon for "High speed target" and this is what I got. It is BIG! It is HEAVY! But it WORKS! Yes, it's a little heavy to move so I usually put it in a wagon or use a dolly to move it to where I will be shooting. This target gets it done though... bolts don't even come out the back side of it! I have even measured with a tape measure and my bolts moving at 425fps have only penetrated 9" maximum! It's usually somewhere between 6-9", but I have not seen one come out the back yet! I also actually like the larger (24"x24") dimension of this target; it reduces the chance that I miss the target and lose a very expensive bolt! It is HEAVY DUTY and worth the money! I definitely recommend this target for anyone shooting a crossbow that is 425fps or higher. I believe it is rated to stop 500fps and I wouldn't doubt it! BEST target for crossbows I have tried so far!!!

This is the best target I have ever owned in 40 years or so. First off I would like to say that I'm shooting a crossbow with a speed of 420 FPS and it shoots clear through a 3D deer target, Next I tried a block target made for X bows that claimed easy bolt removal NOT. The Iron Man target sits in place when shot and only allows about 5 to 6" of bolt to penetrate it and my bolts are as easy as two fingers to remove the bolt. The only down side is it is a heavy target to move around. The Archery shop I deal with uses the same target and has had several thousands of shots placed into them. Also it can not be used with broadheads.

Using it to stop a compound shooting micros and they're easy retrieval. Before this I shot a bag and the outserts would hang up but not this thing. Two finger removal. Great target!

HEAVY! I have not had a chance to shoot my Ravin at this target but it looks very solid. However, this target weighs A TON. Not a big deal if you are just pulling it out of the shed for some practice. But If you need something mobile on a regular basis - I’d consider something else.

Was simply amazed at the ease of removing bolt from target. Also stopped bolt from Raven 26 at about three inches of penetration at 40 yards. Due to my disabilities use a handcart to position and relocate, heavy but stops bolts like no other target I have ever shot into.

I like this target so much I built a wood frame for it to keep it off the ground. It should last a long time.
