After getting this installed on the rear brake line and testing with the engine off it seemed to do the job. But, after the engine was running right off the bat it started leaking around the knob nut.Ok, so I tightened the nut down. it was very loose to begin with. Great, it seems to work.On the first incline that I needed to keep brakes on I set the brake lock. The knob wasn't very decernable if it was set or not. After letting off the brake pedal I could tell it was holding the rear brakes. Great. After having done what I needed to and was ready to get moving again I attempted to release the brake lock without pressing the pedal. This is a manual dump truck and don't want to roll down the hill backwards while getting going. It didn't seem to release by pulling on the knob while not pressing the brake pedal. So, as it was stated, I pressed down on the brake pedal and every bit of the brake fluid shot out around the knob!It had started to leak around the knob shaft this time. After this I could not press down on the pedal any harder than a feather or brake fluid would squirt out of the spring area.TLDR: Loose assembly, seals cannot hold pressure of brake system causing complete loss of brakes.

These are very attractive for the price ... But not up to the task... Installed ,bled the brakes.. instant leak out the top of the valves .. not a big deal they do come with new o rings .. changed them out.. still leaked .. seems to be a machining flaw in them.. took apart my J mar valves.. they are double o ringed.. these are just not up to the task..

I'd give it negative stars if possible. Need a good manual solution and this is not it. Go buy yourself a ball valve instead. I got the first one installed it and added fluid. Went to bleed the system and immediately stared pouring out of the center "shaft" area. I quickly had to un-install the rather difficult installation process and was left with no brakes. Until I received the replacement. Same process and it leaked just the same. Took it apart to find the oring has no chance in sealing into the bore that was drilled to big. Extremely disappointed that I had to do this twice each time having an immediate leak with a mess to clean up. Out the vehicle to drive to work and also out lots of money on brake fluid. Package even say QC pass which is a big NOT. please don't buy. Save your money frustration or you can read this after its too late and you went through it also.

If I could give zero stars I would. Only a less than 30 day return window and my mechanic couldn't get it installed in that timeframe. As soon as it was installed the valve leaked. Totally worthless and a wast of money.

Leaks profusely around the stem, what a waste of time and materials for it not to work, not to mention the installation holes in my sheet metal. Terrible service, shame on Amazon for letting these guys sell this junk! The price is going down so the can sell out!
