This is a great additional bookcase in our office. It was very easy to put together. It is very sturdy and holds a lot of different items. I do wish that the shelves were just a little bit wider, but overall it has been a wonderful addition to the office in our house. It is quite heavy when it comes in the box, but we had no damage. The height is perfect for our office as well.

I got this bookshelf specifically because I wanted to display my Lego sets better. My biggest one is 30inches long. This was perfect and relatively easy to put together. It definitely needs two people but comes with everything you need except maybe a screwdriver. I get a lot of compliments on it and think it holds so much. I felt a lot more organized after getting this shelf.

I had a issue with my previous bookshelf. It fit well with my entertainment system that I had set up a while back. However it did leave a lot of wall space, luckily this shelf was able to perfectly fit in the corner of my room and it is very sturdy being able to hold up many different books and DVDs as well as some figures. There were no missing parts, although it was a bit difficult to read the manual. It has a wonderful black color that matches the rest of my furniture in my room making it a perfect addition.

Assembling this solo is definitely possible but get ready to set aside probably a full day to do so. Instructions were not great and constantly shifted the perspective causing issues. Once assembled it looks good though some of the fastener screws they included didn't work great meaning that I could see the connections start to shift pretty widely and cause gaps while moving it fully assembled. Also thought it was going to snap in half when I had to lift it fully assembled off the floor because there's only one week connection in the middle. Still was able to close the gaps once I had it up and it didn't snap and now it looks great. You get what you pay for I suppose

I love how easy the instructions were to follow. It is challenging to do it when you live alone, but I was able to assemble it get it upright and shifted into place by myself just fine. I can’t wait to fill this shelf up as I move through my PhD program over the next five years. My only gripe is that the shelf height is not adjustable so some of my very tall books don’t fit when they’re upright, but they fit just fine on top of the shelf, so to me it’s not a big deal at all. I also love that it doesn’t have, that crappy particleboard sheet that gets ripped up and wobbly over time. Instead, each shelf has a short plank that barricades it and prevents the books from falling through the back, which not only looks more elegant, but has a much better design and it feels more secure.

For a particle-board based shelf, it looks acceptable. However, that is the only positive I can say. It is not sturdy and there is no value. I received incorrectly machined parts, as seen in the first review image. The screw holes "B" on piece 7 are supposed to be OPPOSITE the swivel connector holes ("A"). After scouring the laughable assembly instructions to see if it was just a labeling error (or a label shifted during delivery), there were no comparable parts.I ended up having to drill my own holes to be able to add the appropriate piece (the shelf backstop) and fill the incorrectly placed holes with putty as these are on the front of the shelf.Not only is a quality control absent in the shelf, there are label mistakes in the instructions. There is an instance that a printed 15 was changed to a 16 in pen (second image). This would be no big deal if the shelf was able to be assembled as delivered.For the price point, find something else. You might be better off throwing the shelf off and storing whatever you intend for the shelf in the box it came in.

This shelf even with instructions was a pain in the a**. However, it’s very sturdy and beautiful in my opinion!! It was not missing any parts. The size of the shelves are pretty big! It comes in a very heavy box I recommend having help moving it into the house!
