Sturdy, simple and low profile. I wanted to mount the ironing board behind a door which eliminates the ability to include the iron or the door will not open as far. This mount was just what I was looking for and arrived as described. Sleek and to the point.

I decided to secure the hanger on the sheetrock wall behind my utility room door. After deciding the right height for the ironing board, I marked and predrilled one hole. I used the plastic anchor, but it bent and broke on the way in. The same happened for the second anchor. I replaced them with others that I had. After loosely installing the first screw, I leveled and marked where the second screw should go. I secured the second screw to the wall then tightened the first screw followed by the second screw. It worked perfectly. Perhaps have a second anchor set on hand in case they break. Another thing is to ensure that the pre-drilled hole is large enough for the anchors. I would recommend this hanger.

My hanger came without hardware. When I looked it up to see if I made a mistake I started reading reviews and read how the hardware they include is cheap. We decided instead of waiting for a replacement with cheap hardware, we went and bought our own from the store. The hanger itself works great once it’s up.
