Seems like they should hold up. Like other reviewers have commented, they do loosen up after awhile. Honestly though, I've had that issue with all round boot laces. I think it's just how it is. I'm happy with these.

Put these on my boots, and they are durable. They have trouble staying tied, but a double knot fixes that issue.

I use these for my work boots and trail walking shoes. You get the feel of normal laces but the strength and durability of 550 cord so you don’t have to worry about them when you lace up.

Bought a set of these laces 63†length for a pair of work boots. Quality is good, laces seem durable. But my knots were constantly loosening using the conventional bunny ear-style to tie my shoes. Had to re-tie them frequently. Ended up buying a different pair of similar laces for my boots and have not had the same issue, so I know my tying method is not the problem.

For as long as I can remember, I've always worn out shoelaces quickly—that is, until now. Though the most expensive I've ever used, these laces are worth every penny.
