These are not quite as "irwin sturdy" as the other irwin original c clamps but they work really good. I use them for fiberglass repairs, and also to hold fender replacements onto big rig hoods. These are more rectangular than the 11" irwin c clamps giving it more throat depth to reach further. Def recommend having at least one set if you use locking c clamps often

I use so many clamps doing bodywork that if I see a size I don't have I get them. I'm sure at some point it'll be the exact size I need. I really hate vice grip has moved to China. Quality seems fine, but the cost savings doesn't get passed along to the consumer.

A good way to short cut a difficult Ill designed drill press table when trying to install and use a vice on the press unit. Especially if the drill press is “Jet†Table mount brand.

I bought them for welding repairs on my vehicle where you need several clamps before starting a weld. Works well. A bit heavier duty construction than the Yaetool brand I also bought, but heavy duty isn't the most necessary asset when you have about 6 or 8 clamps holding pieces together for a weld. The other brand had a bit longer neck reach.

They are great, perfect size, a bit longer then the regular vise grips but smaller and more light as the very deep/long once. Great tool for Auto Body techs.
