Using this to couple a 1/4hp motor to a shaft for mixing a tank of liquid. Just assembled everything and tested it, and it seems to do the job (holding a ~6 foot long 5/8" stainless shaft with a ~4" propeller on the end, hanging vertically). We'll see how it does after continuous use for ~3 days. So far so good.

Great solid, well built product. We used it to reduce the length of a steering shaft. Purchasing a new steering shaft was $180, so we just took the existing shaft, cut it off, and slid this in place. You could weld it in place for additional security (we didn't).
