Our hamster is somewhat larger and this does not work for her. She is too big. She wanted to get in it but immediately knew that it wasn’t big enough for her. If she were smaller or gerbil size it would work perfectly. Great value. Easy to hang with the included hooks. Seems soft. Should be easy to clean and appears durable however, I don’t know because she can't use it.

It came with a strong smell, patches of blue dye, and an overall cheap feel to it. It’s much too small for a Syrian hamster or an adult rat. My rats won’t go in it even when I put treats inside. They immediately rejected it. HOWEVER- it’s really cute. Small, flimsy, and kind of garbage, but a cute idea that was worth trying for the roughly seven bucks I paid for it. If you have mice or a gerbil, I’d at least give it a shot.

I have an adult rat. I had to cut the stitching a little bit on the top cover to make the hole bigger so she can fit in it easier. She loves it! She sleeps in it all of the time. I like that it hangs so it doesn’t take up any floor space in her cage.

I really wanted to love this Smarten Banana Hamster Bed, but unfortunately, my hamster chewed right through the fabric. It’s cute and cozy, but it doesn’t seem to hold up well to chewing, which is a big concern for me. If you have a hamster that likes to chew, I wouldn’t recommend this product.

I mean, there’s a really cute guy in a banana hammock- what’s not to like?!? 😆 My baby rats fit well, my dwarf rat will be able to keep fitting. Big boys won’t. Probably best for hamsters or mice or dwarf rats like Mr Pip here.

I loved this product but my hamster never used it. I even waited a few days to see if he likes it but he did not go anywhere near it. So basically it's just took up space in his cage.
