I've read reviews of these leaking. When I first installed they leaked at the pipe thread side. I asked my dad about the best way to keep these frome leaking. (Dad being a heavy machinery mechanic most his life has great input) he said to smear the the threads of the line with pipe dope, and then use yellow plumbers tape over the top of that. I tried that and let it setup for 48hours (like the tube of pipe dope recommends on fuels and oils) fired it up and have ran it for almost 4 hours with no leaks at all. Dry as a bone!These fittings feel well made. The covers fit a little loose but not enough for me to worry about them falling off. First couple times I used them the plungers didn't want to seat back all the way once pulled apart. So I just reinsert the fittings from my attachment a few times and got it to lock closed like it should. I chalked it up to it being new and not being oiled/lubed up enough. Only time will tell how they work out sine I've only got about 6 hours on them.

These quick couplers were hard to connect and leaked the whole time. Right from new. O-ring or internal groove must not be seated properly. Steady gush when connected.
