INSTALLATION GUIDE
Eyebolts must be installed on a structurally sound internal wall before the ladder can be deployed for the first time. Do not fix to an external wall. Do not tamper with or disassemble eyebolt.
1. Select solid parent material like concrete. Drill only into stone or brick. Eyebolts will not be secure if installed into mortar or wood.
2. Use a twelve-millimeter drill bit with cutting edges which are either three or four points on the head, to get a completely round hole.
3. Drill a 90 degrees hole and make sure don't move or tilt the drill during the drill.
4. Use a hammer to fix expansion screws into the solid parent
5. Install the hanger with the screws and use a wrench to tighten the nuts. Tighten locking nut on eyebolt with a spanner. Do not over-tighten!
The eyebolts should be at 90 degrees to the floor (not parallel) in their final, tightened position.

Bought three packs of two. Five were fine. When I went to install the last one, the bolt didn't fit through the hole. Of course there's no way to return a single item from a two-pack.

A standard USA 3/8" drill will NOT work. I had to buy a special 10mm sds-plus drill bit for these. Not worth the expense and effort IMO if you live in the USA. Just get standard 3/8 or 1/2 bolts/hangers which are much more common and the masonry drill bits are readily available in local stores.Other than that they seem well constructed.

These are great, but if you add lock washers or anything else be sure to get M10.... these wedge anchors are M10, so get the right drill bit and you'll be great, good quality 👌
