Winterizing
Winterizing is not just for December, January, and February, it can be cold enough in some places the rest of the year to cause the water to freeze in the hose and crack internal parts. Turn off and drain water from the unit when the temperature dips, even if you don’t do a full winterization.
Tighten it up
Rough roads can shake connections loose. Checking on the tightness of connections periodically, will prevent water leaks and damage.
Cleaning
Cleaning around the connection points and inside the inner box to be sure there is no buildup of dirt or debris, will not only alert you to potential issues it will also keep the unit looking good and ready to use.
Replace
Sometimes you just need to replace worn or degraded parts to prevent extensive damage. Always check for recyclable parts and dispose of other parts properly to protect our recreational areas for future campers.

This is an identical replacement for the box kit that came with our 19 Tab 320. It was an easy swap in and out. The completed job looks "factory installed." I wish the shower hose was longer and the box a bit more durable.The lesson I learned from having to replace this is to *thoroughly* empty water from the hose and this unit for winter storage. Be sure to take shower head off and drain all water from the hose. Also it helps to open both valves and let water drain from the inside supply line of the trailer if possible.

Happy with the part. I had to replace my outside shower unit on my trailer and this part was an exact replacement. Installation was simple and all the parts were included, including screws. Overall, pleased with the purchase. The price was a bit high but sure beats trying to make a cheaper alternative work.

I have a 2011 North Trial TT and this is the exact same outside shower. The hot water valve started to leak and these are not repairable. The shower head will stay on constant. I have read reviews saying it didn’t. Thankfully I found this at a reasonable price.

This was an exact replacement for the outdoor shower on my travel trailer. I would have given it a five star rating except for the fact that the design causes the shower hose to kink and pull at the connection. That is what caused the original install to fail and leak water. The connection really needs to be a 90 degree elbow so that the hose lays straight instead of curved. I'm not sure if this issue occurs with other travel trailers and it is possible that mine does not allow enough clearance space for the hose to operate properly.
