I'd seen some Anderson plugs for 50A connections and then 175 amp size, but now they have this mid-size for 120 amp. I'm using them with a 1500 watt inverter that can need 120 amp draw for max power. Note, this set includes 2 plugs with brackets on both for mounting, so getting another set for a mate that plugs into one of these mounted ones may be best. You'll also need a crimp tool or soldering iron for the connectors, but that should be expected.

Bought this to install a remote jump connection on my truck. I used these on my old work truck and they are great.

The build quality of the quick connectors in this set is impressive for the price. The gray plastic housings of the Ansderson style connectors are sturdy and feel durable, suitable for long-term use. The terminals are good quality, thick walled with deep barrels for easy crimping, and plenty of contact area for connections. These are perfect for temporary power connections of high-current DC applications, such as winches, trailers, ATVs, trolling motors, or other demanding setups. The set includes mounting plates that come pre-installed, along with plastic latches that can be closed over the connectors when not in use. This closure offers some protection for the connectors inside, but it could be more weatherproof. There is no sealing gasket - just a plastic cover that slightly overlaps - a design that might allow moisture or dust to seep in under harsh conditions. It may be possible to apply a liquid gasket maker to form a small gasket, but the closure is already quite tight, so this might not be feasible. The included mounting screws don’t appear to be the best quality, but this isn’t a significant issue, as they can easily be replaced with better alternatives if needed.Overall, these connectors are a solid option for any high-current DC power connections where you need the connector to be mounted to a panel, though some attention to weatherproofing may be required if these will be exposed outdoors.

Over time the plastic cover will break off. It is thin and not durable which is the only reason why I would not recommend it or buying it again.
