It’s one single armature, very large & sturdy. We haven’t used it yet because I hate the fact that my kiddo wants to sculpt a head so this will only be a one use purchase.

Expensive for a really basic armature. The stand does not sit tightly on the base.

I've been using this for a few weeks now for a head sculpt (a little over 20 lbs of natural clay from Michael's) and about 2-3 weeks in, the wood post that screws into the base became loose from the weight of the clay. I managed to save my project by attaching corner brackets to the base and post, and have had no problems since. I strongly recommend starting off like this and using a turntable underneath your project.
