It's a beautiful purple, lighter than their "Shimmer Violet". It's the same as with all the Pearl-Ex pigments: A little goes a long way, and it's perfect for tinting epoxy when you want something with a little shine and shimmer. The only thing weird is the name. We already have a word for "duo red-blue", guys: It's "purple".

Pearl Ex pigments are awesome to work with, especially in Epoxy Resin, Acrylic Paint & more!! Vibrant & pretty too!! Just use a tiny bit for small & medium substrates, I use a quarter of a teaspoon. Mixes well in all mediums!

This pigment is gorgeous! It’s perfect for making clear slime. The only down side is the high price for a small amount of pigment. And the jar doesn’t come full. I’d love to buy more when there is a sale!

I have 4 different Jacquard pigment powders and so far I love them all. The quality is good and the Red/Blue gives such a beautiful effect to slime. I can't wait to see how it looks on polymer clay!

The colour is only blue when I spray it on black base no sign of red
