I needed an ink for dark colored shirts and reviews said this was the one to use. This did not disappoint me. I applied 4 passes of the ink with medium pressure as the ink is a little thicker than what I am used to. Great results as you can see. Not sure why we have to evaluate sheerness in a product that is not supposed to be see through. This was heat set and remained permanent on the shirt. My hands cleaned up with soap and water.

I just recently started getting into screen printing and this is the first ink I bought. I don't have any other brands of water based ink to compare it to, but I've heard that other brands are better, but this is better than Speedball. I've been printing white ink on black shirts with no trouble. Apparently white is supposed to be the most difficult color to print because it has to be thicker to be opaque on dark colors. I bought some water based ink softener to mix in with the ink (from another website, couldn't find any on amazon) and that helps make the ink a bit softer and make it so I can push it through a 230 mesh count screen. After heat curing and washing, the ink feels pretty soft (if ink softener is added). You can still feel it, but less than before it was washed. It has held up fine to washing as far as the ink not fading or washing out. I heat cure with a heat gun at 320 degrees or higher, then stick it in the laundry dryer to make sure it's extra dry before doing a wash test.I'm probably going to try a more "professional" ink next time I need to buy some just to see the difference, but I think this ink is great. I also bought black but haven't tried it yet. I have tried plastisol ink too and I have to say, water based ink is so much easier to clean! This is a great hobby to get into, just make sure you have all the cleaning supplies you need and there's tons of information online to get you started.

Printed this ink on bright orange shirts. great coverage. got a little too tacky about 3/4 into a 70 shirt run, but thinned with a bit of water and was fine. never had a screen clogging problem like with other inks. cleaned easily out of screen when done. happy with quality and ease of use.

I have just gotten started in screenprinting, and after doing as much research as possible, I landed on this ink to use on a dark charcoal shirt for printing my design. First, this stuff is THICK. Like, so thick I thought there was a possibility that it was drying out. But I pressed ahead and continued to apply it to my screen. At first, I didn't add enough ink to my screen, because when I went to flood the screen there were lots of empty streaks. So I added more, and finally got a full flood. Then it was time to start pushing the ink through. As this was my first time printing anything, I was doing every step for the first time. I really wanted to do the "push" method of printing, but I couldn't get the ink to push through the screen mesh (a 230 mesh screen). Absolutely nothing went through. So before I got too dejected, I tried the "pull" method and was able to get more leverage to push the ink through the screen. Worked beautifully!!I really have no complaints about this product. I'm a first time user of the product, and if I can get this to work, then anyone can. People who are running into issues are either not working fast enough, pressing hard to push the ink through, or aren't applying an offset to their screen. So the bottom line is if you're persistent, maybe employ some upper body strength, and keep working at it, this will do the job quite effectively. This review gets 4-stars because I really had to work hard to make it do what I needed it to do. I might end up coming back and making this a 5-star review, but right now, I just don't know what I don't know. I'll have to try other opaque white inks to see how it compares.

Fantastic product! I am very new to the world of screen printing, and I first decided to purchase Speedball's White Screen Printing Ink, and it ended up being exactly opposite of what I had in mind. Speedball's White went on opaque, but dried very transparent, and just did not work out the way I wanted — I needed a very opaque white, air dry ink for my project. Thankfully this Jacquard White goes on opaque, dries opaque, and dries fairly well with only air. I have since purchased a heat gun to quickly dry the Jacquard Ink, and that really helps to speed up the drying process. This ink cures quickly with a heat gun, and has a good amount of stretch and flexibility on 100% Ringspun Cotton t-shirts. It also has a soft hand. All in all, this is a great product for the price; this ink will definitely last a long time, and it was worth all the money. As far as the shipment goes, this product arrived to me very quickly although I could not purchase with Prime. Overall, fantastic service!

Bottle came open, some ink stains on the cap, and some missing ink on it, no, the bottle wasnt broken, obviously someone used the small quantity they needed and return the rest of the bottle.

i was trying to find an ink that would be opaque even on black sweatshirts and this worked perfectly. its very thick so i added a little water just to make it easier to work with but it still looks great.

I think I got an old container or one that had a pin hole or something in it. When I opened it up, it looked like a sponge, or a piece of some exotic cheese. Being that this is my first go at screen printing, I added water like it said and it was still chunkie and way too inconsistent. I can’t use this product and I have 40 shirts to do. One of which is now wasted. The next ink I get I will be sure to try on cardboard first.

Crappy because I waited so long to get it only to find it had no seal like this paint always has and it’s clumpy and unusable. Will have to return.

This is amazing! Fabulous for screenprinting onto a variety of surfaces and stays pretty much after that!
