I have used Jagwire in the past, buy never really paid attention to the feel until now. I was installing a new derailleur and obviously needed a shift cable. I have a generic cable on my trials bike, so I thought I would try something different on my trail bike. It shift smoother and has a nice feel to the shifting as a whole. Could it be the new derailleur? Sure, but I have used this derailleur in the past. The point is, I have never had a "side-by-side" comparison between Jagwire and a "plain" cable. I think I will stick with Jagwire.

Easy to install, high quality cable and housing shift very smoothly and crisply. Jagwire is far better quality than other, cheaper stuff, but still reasonably priced. Well worth it. I ran into a small glitch and the seller provided excellent customer service. 5 stars!

I used this to replace the shift cable on my Lectric XP 2.0. It works more smoothly than the original cable! The installation directions are clear and easy to follow.

I was hoping that this will keep the muck thrown by the back wheel of my bike from affecting the rear derailleur shifting but it didn't since my bike frame has cable stops that require bare cable segments. The packaging itself doesn't say sealed but Amazon's description does.If your bike has internal cable routing and you can run a continuous segment of derailleur cable housing from the shifter to the derailleur then you can save money by getting this instead of the Jagwire Elite which comes with a continuous liner that goes from shifter to derailleur covering the bare cable and goes inside the shifter housing so that there are no bare cable segments at all if your bike frame uses cable stops.
