I used these paints with stencils on tshirts & wood. Loved how they turned out and I really loved the colors. Mix them up before using.

I've been very happy with the quality and performance this brand's chalk paste offers, and they sell so many great color assortments. I've never tried their shimmers before, and was pretty pleased with the results, although on one surfaces the color seemed more sheer, but I also didn't wax the surface prior to chalking, which I highly recommend. I have tried these on fabric, but I've used their black paste on kitchen towels and heat set it, and it worked great as an ink and didn’t fade with washing. So I'll definitely be trying that next to see if the shimmer will adher to fabric. They're easy to work with, and have such a nice shimmer to them.

This is my first experience with chalk paste paint and I wasn’t sure I’d like working with it. Not to worry. It is easy to work with, a nice viscosity and, although haard to photograph, the metallic quality is nice. It isn’t too glittery. I tried it with a stencil which worked very well. Being loath to waste paint I smeared extra on a gesso textured card and that’s my kind of result. Will be exploring more – especially on fabric – and will edit this review if anything is a disaster. At this point I don’t think it will be.
