Out the box, Great Skates. I got a pair for my mom and I. Size down from your normal shoe size, just like you would with rented skates. I wear a size 8, but had to return because I forgot to size down to a size 7. Very comfortable and the best fit! The color and light up wheels are top tier!

I purchased these for my daughter as a Christmas gift, and she absolutely loves them! The color is even more stunning in person, and the pink wheels add such a fun touch. She’s been skating nonstop since she opened them, and they roll smoothly both indoors and outside. Definitely a great gift!

My wife is a former derby player and a fantastic skater. She has a good pair of skates but I got here these since she's a huge fan of pink. And pink they are! The wheels light up pink as well.In addition to having massive girly cred, they are halfway decent skates -- the uppers have good support and the bearings are definitely serviceable. They run a little big (she's an 8.5, ordered a 9, will have to wear thick socks) but for the price the quality is good. Obviously not for competition or extensive use, but certainly good for casual skating.
