I bought this because I saw a similar one being used by JK (iykyk). I thought the little cherry tree blossoms would bloom when I poured hot tea into it. I guess I didn’t pay enough attention, because heat makes the tree go bare, and cold water makes it bloom. It’s still a very lovely item and I enjoy using it.

When the dish arrived, the flowers were pink(I live in New England, so cold out now). I let it sit in the warm house and the flowers turned blue. I tried putting cold water in it and nothing changed. I put it in the freezes and this is what happened- some of the flowers look like they have hunks of snow on them, and one group sticks out still stark blue. I never got the pink back, nor did I ever see the naked branches. But, it is a very cute dish, and I like the blue flowers.Update: the sellers contacted me and told me to try hot water which caused a magic change back to pink and then a lovely pale blue. Worth every Penny.

Not worth the price. After the 5th use with gentle hand washing before and after use the image of the tree began to disintegrate/ dissolve. Showing that there was no finishing layer added to preserve the beauty. It was worth at most $4, I got played =(

Awesome colors and worked well for a bit but then the design started to come off. Cool for novelty but use very lightly.
