It's a really long gate hinge, it's galvanized, it is made to go through a 4-6" post and nuts on the other side. They are really nice and I'm hesistant to use them here around the farm until I have a need for such a long J bolt

Good product. Cheaper than picking them up from a local hardware store. They feel solid and I think they will last a while and tolerate the abuse my kids and Great Dane are going to throw at it.
