The carbon steel on this thing is no joke, I imagine this thing will outlast me. The foam pads are dense and provide nice cushioning even under full load.The straps are aren't as high quality as the rest of the build but they get the job done. Time will tell how they hold up. The bottom plate only supports slightly less than half of the water cooler so the straps are mandatory for the cooler to stay in position, unless you mount the rack leaning back or something. The only flaw I have come across so far is that the slots for the bottom strap should be higher up. You can see these slots in the first photo, showing the back of the rack. They have plenty of room to be higher up so I don't know why this decision was made. The way it is now, the bottom strap is too close to the water spigot and can even cover it up or get in the way if the strap is at the bottom of the slot vs the top of the slot. Bad design choice here.The provided screws and bolts are large and in charge, I have no doubt they will support this rack and a fully loaded cooler. In the photos I have the bolts in mounting holes of the rack and set the wood screws on top of the lid for visual reference.I am doing modifications to my truck and installing other racks before I install this which is why there are no pictures of it mounted.Overall I am happy with it and would recommend it. For ~$38, at time of review, I think this is fair value. The thickness, quality and coating of the carbon steel alone is worth that price.

This cooler rack is great for running on adventures. It's easy to put on a truck, trailer, or camper. It can mount different ways for whatever you need. I love having extra water and freeing up our 4runner for other things. We always need water, so this has made it convenient. Definitely recommend this purchase and the price is right.

I got this with the intention of mounting it to my bed rails - I thought I would do so without drilling holes. I was wrong though, and could not rig up a way to make it work. It's built well and fits everything as expected, but you gotta be ready to drill the holes.

This frame is well constructed and fits a 3 gallon water cooler. I was hoping that it would ratchet strap to a bumper but it does require mounting. It includes self tapping bolts to mount to a frame which is suitable for permanent applications.
