Just what the sun porch needed - a water feature. I wanted to hang it on the wall, but because of the weight, I didn't want to have to lift it off the wall every time I wanted to check the level and couldn't figure out how to do it from the front. So I set it on a shelf instead so that I can angle it a bit away from the wall and look in the rear opening to keep the water level just right. The motor is quiet and it's easy to adjust the sound of the "splash" with pebbles or with the little sponge inserts that came with it. It doesn't drip or splash out on to the shelf or the wall. I'm happy about that. The cord is a bit unsightly and I was going to paint it the color of the wall behind it, but I like one reviewer's idea of having a plant below it that obscures the cord.It's a nice little fountain.

The first one lasted 4 years before it faded the replacement has a better water pump but paint is already chipped. Must have changed the manufacturing, first one enter chipped.

Great price but is it great because the pump is missing? Could find no way to ask Amazon if they could just send me the pump. I got at a discount "used, like new condition" from Amazon Fulfillment Services (is that the warehouse, a return from a previous customer?). The price is too good to send back only to be told I have to pay full price to get one with a pump. I will purchase a pump and install myself. The fountain is quite attractive and will go very nicely in my garden with my other fountains. Prime customer for YEARS, first disappointment.

Performs as described, easy to set up, rustic-appearing craftsmanship. We added this fountain to our patio primarily for the running-gurgling water sound and it is great! The pump can be adjusted to limit (or eliminate) any "splash" zone. It would be nice to have a water-level indicator (transparent section perhaps?) without having to move the fountain from its mounting.

This product was not the easiest to assemble. The product needs special screws and tool to be hung. You will need heavy duty screws with anchors and or strong metal hanging hooks. You will also need a well made hammer. Once the product is filled with water it becomes heavy. It requires good support. It is a beautiful picturesque fountain. It gives a very Tranquill relaxing sound. The motor has a very soft sound. The motor has a very relaxing hum that is not over powering. The motor sounds like a small fish tank filter maybe either softer. The fountain itself overall is beautiful and will add beauty to any room and can transform a room into a relaxing oasis.

fountain is beautiful.... just as it appears..... but mounted on wall and has no cover over back wall and splatters on wall and then runs down the wall. Also the back has a cut out for the cord but only to one side - not sure why they would not have a cut out for the cord on both so the unit could fit flush to the wall if you need to plug on the other which we needed. We have an outside fountain that has a cover for the hole in the back therefore preventing splash but this does not have one -- big problem....we had to rig one and caulk around it so as not to soak the wall.

To start, we returned this fountain. For one thing, despite the nice appearance, the sound is just one dripping noise since all the water "holes" drain into the pots at the same time (so imagine four basins dripping together). One would have thought that the pots' bottoms would have been staggered to add the effect of different sounds instead of having you feel that you should go back in and check the tap in the bathroom shower. And secondly, this thing is heavy, as in it takes close to a gallon of water before the last pot begins dripping. Yes, it's just a painted resin-mold with an inexpensive aquarium pump, but so are most other outdoor fountains...but for $140+, one would have thought a bit more planning would have gone into this. We wanted something close to the wall (this does stick out a bit) and actually did like the "cuteness" of this...but after a few days of that drip-drip-drip sound, we felt as if we were growing agitated instead of relaxed. Recommendation...place it on a table and run it for awhile BEFORE you drill the two holes in your brick or wall. Take it for a test drip, if you will...the good news, you may go to the bathroom a lot more, even if you wonder why the urge is always there.

First, this was much cheaper on Amazon than another popular site. But having said that, this "fountain" is great. The sound is so soothing and the water flow is adjustable. We do not hang it on the wall but we have it sitting on a table in our patio and it works fine there. It also works sitting on the concrete. So glad I purchased it! Our dogs love to lay in front of it and nap.
