...it's a bit more substantial but I can't disagree all that much with the t-shirt comparison...although it sounds a bit strange maybe -a summer weight sweatshirt?...anyway, I can easily see wearing this in hot weather and at the gym...I'm 5'9" 200 lbs 45-46" and normally for most things a large...the large here fit me fine. I liked it enough to put in a second order. Nice and loose around the body & neck. This is very comfortable. This is better (and less clingy) than a long sleeved t-shirt (I'm sensitive to the sun) in hot weather although it is equally great for the cooler months with enough fabric to break the wind. This is at least a spring-summer-fall covering for someone active or shopping. If you are like me that likes and lives by long-sleeves tees as the only overing (and sometimes under a jacket) this is the one to get.

Received it 4 January (only 1 day ago), washed it straight out of the package without never wearing it, and noticed hole in sleeve at the cuff from material unraveling. If I washed it twice, would the sleeve fall off? Very disappointed in the quality!

Purchase for my husband and he loves it. Texture is comparable to another hoodie purchased directly from Orvis that retailed for $250. I used to avoid clothing purchases on Amazon but lately that is where I do most of my clothes shopping because of the quality and selection continues to improve and expand.

Really love the waffle fabric & the general look/feel. The sizing is obviously off, as its made in China. The sleeves are WAYYYY too short for the rest of the shirt size, so I can only say this is ALMOST a great shirt.
