These needles are made from the finest quality English steel with a double eye punch. There are two Milliner sizes available - Size 10 and 11. Jen uses the Milliner needle to hand stitch with. She loves the 11 - it is the longest and finest, which helps regulate her stitches. Jen likes that it's not thick at one end like other needles. This assists with glide, allowing you to get more running stitches on the needle. The size 10 Milliner is still beautiful to stitch with, it is just slightly thicker and has a larger eye which can make it a little easier to thread.

These needles were recommended in a class for doing hand piecing (quilting). I purchased them and found that they really did the trick. They go through the fabric easily and the shaft is long enough to load up several stitches before pulling it through.

These are fabulous. Long, sharp, thin and just enough give. Work really well for English paper piecing, makes it easier to catch just a few threads at a time and needle slides through like butter. Needle eye is small, so I find this works well with a fine thread or a thread that is specifically for hand quilting. These are now my go to EPP sewing needles.

Great needles but very fine needles. I like then but they bend a bit.

They make needle turn appliqué much easier. Only problem is you need a needle threading device

These needles are very thin and do not leave a visible hole in the fabric. I use them with very fine cotton and silk thread. The result is you cannot see the stitches on the appliqué. They are a good length also.

I had to order different needles. These are very frustrating to try and thread. I tried several types of threaders. The hole is so tiny. These are impossible.
