- Begin cutting herbs, starting from the tips of the herbs. Continue cutting along the edge of the herbs.
- Adjust grip on herbs as needed, always trimming from the edges.

This is FANTASTIC for quickly mincing all sorts of herbs (parsley, basil, dill and even green onions, etc.). Unfortunately, as you can tell by the enclosed pic, it rusts! I've had this for over a year, and I use it at least 3 times a week. Most of the time it cleans well enough (it comes with a protective sheath and a little "comb" that helps you clean residue from between the blades). However, if your herbs are wet or even slightly moist they will adhere to the blades and these scissors WILL need a rinsing. But, much as I ALWAYS dry them thoroughly after rinsing them (and even after applying a thin coat of cooking oil to stave off the rust)... they have gotten somewhat rusty anyway. But, if you're okay with this, I DO recommend them.By the way, they are still as sharp as the first day!

Love to use these to chop up herbs when there are enough to merit the slightly extra effort to wash. Make sure to avoid touching the sharp side when washing!

I used this to chop parsley to decorate some pasta i served and scallions. Lots of good uses. I bought a few to give as gifts too. Really like this

I was surprised at how nicely these herb shears worked. I have a good sized herb garden and use fresh herbs all season long for every meal . I am excited for canning season this year salsa and sauce 😮! They are super sharp and save so much time! especially scrubbing the cutting boards . I’m extra careful not to lose that little “comb†that helps clean out the little bits left behind after chopping. I’ve used these on basil parsley cilantro sage thyme oregano and oooh they work great with chives! I harvested 4 good sized clumps and chopped them straight into the dehydrator trays in no time at all. they are heavy duty, I can’t see them breaking ever. But if my husband took them out into the garage and used them to fix the lawn mower (stranger things have happened) and they were accidentally broken , I would order up another pair immediately .

These scissors are great. I was fixing a dish that needed some sliced green onions and I always chop some of the green tops with them but this time I thought I'd just try the scissors on them. Perfect! In a couple of minutes I had all I needed. Same thing with Italian Parsley. After I stripped the leaves off instead of slicing with a knife I sort of balled some up and put it between the blades and Voila! I had nice little strips of parsley for my dish. They are so sharp that they just slice through without bruising. Also, the blade cover clears all the little pieces left between the blades besides protecting the scissors. How efficient. A simple rinse off and you're done.I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and sometimes a lot of cutting and chopping makes my hands and especially my fingers cramp so much that I can't finish food preparation. This may be the best tool I've ever bought because I like to cook and this with a couple of other tools sure makes prep fast and easy. I highly recommend this product.Also, I'd like to mention that as soon as the scissors arrived the company contacted me about their product, letting me know that if I had any trouble receiving it or if there would ever be any problems with it to contact them immediately. This is a small company that takes pride in their products, so much so, that they want their customers happy. I've never had any company large or small follow up instantly like this. I'm very impressed.

I wanted this to work more quickly than chopping fresh herbs with a knife. When used, the scissor blades feel stiff and rigid; cut if you have longer herb pieces, and stack them up carefully. I hope to return it, but I need help getting advice or contacting the company online through Amazon. I used this for the first time a couple of days ago, so I would like to know if I can return. The herb scissor has a lifetime warranty, so I can return it for a refund. We will see! There are usually catches to Warantees.I can not return the LIFETIME WARRANTY, which means nothing when trying to return the first use after the purchased time allowed. I carefully packed it in the original display package for return.

After trying a number of herb cuttung methods I was impressed with these scissors. I use a lot of basil and these scissors did the job! The cleaning tool supplied worked well also. Am happy to have bought this item

Not worth it, at this price.The bottom part of the scissor is unusable since blades are not properly aligned. Some blades not even grinding together.One can only use the top most part of the blade hinge where blades are connected.
