I used it not for sand hammering but for handpan shaping. I replaced the hammer head with a custom made tool. So far I am very pleased by how strong and fast the hammer blows. Only one point: the handle switch is very sensitive and sometimes the hammers goes when you don't want to, which could be a bit dangerous. All in all, it's a really solid and good tool.

I will buy another with on off clip, the one I purchase is a bit too sensitive without the clip, but you get used to it, and no problem.Well build worth the money, buy with confidence.
