It is not as loud as some of the commercial dryers, which I like in our small bathroom. It is not quite as powerful as those either, but still plenty powerful to dry your hands in less than 10 seconds. The machine screws that attache the shell after you mount it on the wall were a pain. They unscrewed easy, but they didn't thread back in easy. I'm not sure I could ever take them out and put them back in again.

I'm not an electrician so I got a friend who does electrical work to insall it by hardwiring it. So far it woks great. I'm hoping it lasts for a while!!

We put this in a small downstairs bath where I really couldn't figure out where a waste can could go for paper hand wipes. Don't really like those ring towel holders. So I figured this would be the best option and in the long run, it saves money!! Plus we are helping the environment. Friends are loving it!! It was really easy to install...just have to make sure that it is high enough from the countertop! Great idea for small bathrooms!

I really wanted a bigger hand dryer but have a small bathroom so figured I'd try this one instead. It arrived and I could see it's about the size of my toaster- VERY compact. I figured for the size it would probably be like a hair dryer and not move much air at all. I was pleasantly surprised when I plugged it in and waved my hand under it- it moves a ton of air and heats up quickly! It moves enough air in a stream that you can see your skin moving on your hand and arm when you put them under it. Super high powered and yet compact- I love it!It says it takes 1400 watts when running it on warm air- if you're using this in a house, it's quite possible your breaker can't run much more than 1500 watts so if you run this hand dryer and something else that takes a lot of power- you risk fires/ overloading your circuit. Your alternative is to flip it to cold air- it says it has a switch for that. I don't see a switch anywhere on it at all. I'll have to open up the panel in the back and see if I can find it in there. If it exists, I'm just switching it to cold because it goes down from 1400 watts to using just 500 watts which is much more efficient! At the rate this thing blows air- I don't think you'll even miss the hot air being switched off!Very well made and nice looking hand dryer! Definitely worth the price!
