I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this wooden flute case. For such a low price, I was not expecting it to be great quality, but it is really quite good. The latches are sturdy. The wood finish is very pretty. My Yamaha flute fits very nicely inside I have a Sankyo headjoint and it is ever so slightly snug, but still fits. When the flute is in the case, and I shake the case, I cannot hear the flute moving inside, which was a problem with my old case. It also fits inside my gig bag, too.

Ordered for my Powell Sonare. It’s beautiful and a perfect fit. Some people have said it may not protect the flute, it looks like it would protect just fine (I will update if that turns out not to be the case). I carry it in a gig bag which is padded anyway. It opens flat, another nice feature. It really is beautiful and a steal for the price.

I purchased an amazing refurbished flute but the case needed to be replaced. I saw cases that were similar on other websites but they were much more expensive. This case is beautiful, sturdy and well built. I highly recommend it.

Bought this for my daughter for her Flute for a band trip. When we opened the package we were more in love with it. The case is a beautiful cherry wood. Sleek design with beautiful plush lining. Holds her flute with precise care. Locks are easy to use and no issues with closing or opening. Easy to carry, small light weight and fits perfectly inside her backpack, luggage etc. would highly recommend purchasing.

As others have said, this is a beautiful case. Unfortunately mine arrived with a big chip out of the wood on one corner. It was packed well, so must have happened before shipping. Also the latches were both quite scratched. I tried my flutes for fit. The body of my Gemeinhardt was too long for the slot and the head joint of my Yamaha was too long. I don’t know what brand would fit. It’s very pretty, but is being returned.
