The actual stainless version is great. Be sure to order that one - read and choose carefully. (I have other similar tools made of aluminum - they are lighter, but also easier to bend - not suitable for my needs, too light duty). The lacing needles are also great - they have a good / useful taper, not too blunt but not too sharp. They also have a fairly deep recess for the cord (unlike the cheaper ones, that are so shallow that they won't hold the cord - you can't screw the cord far enough into the recess). I had purchased a 'starter set' earlier for less than half of the price of this set, and that set came with more tools. But they were inexpensive (as you'd expect) and almost none have remained in my tool kit. The tools in this set will be in my tool kit for years to come - very well worth the extra $.

The only marlin spike I've seen with an actual radius on the tip. Works Awesome. Well worth the investment. The aluminum versions that others sell don't work very well at all.

I’ll start with the flaw because it is minor. My issue is for whatever reason as you’re using it it’s very easy to loosen Either The bottom or top that keeps the needles inside. I’m sure this can be easily resolved with just a slight coding of the lightest level of thread lock or a couple of rubberIt is so easy to work with and works great for taking out any knot that you might have. It might be a little short for people with larger hands, but I think this is designed at this size, simply for dexterity and the ability to maneuver In and out of knots. Have used on both 550 and 750 per cord with no problem on either.The quality is excellent, and whoever these are being machined by, they are done with the utmost care.I wish that the sleeve was better quality or at least was tighter to hold the Fid inside or just Gave you the option to buy it without. I had a leather sleeve made to fit it.All of these things that I have pointed out that are negative for me could easily not bother somebody else and this is why I’m still giving it a 5 star rating.

Another Excellent Paracording Tool from JigPro. Thanks Guys! I had the original Knotters Tool from JigPro, and this new one is slightly different. The most obvious difference is that the new tool has a sharper, more tapered point, allowing you to get into tighter knots easier. Also the ribbing is slightly changed to allow better grip. I like to wrap the smaller areas with paracord to spice it up a bit. Also the pocket clips kink has been moved down a bit allowing for a more secure clip. And of course the interior is hollow allowing you to store your lacing needles inside the Knotters Tool 2. An excellent tool that should be in EVERY paracorders kit! This will allow you to work more efficiently, making paracord, or leather project looks way better than you ever thought you could do!***Pro-Tip***- I cut 2 round pieces of felt and push them into the top and bottom of the inside of the tool, this allows the threading needles to rest gently inside and make zero sound- No more Clinking while you work!

I've been thinking of getting one of these for a while, and finally decided to do it after seeing a friend using theirs. I love the longer point (sharper than most but still not too sharp), and the stainless steel version definitely has some heft to it which I definitely like. I don't know that I'll keep the fids stored inside as they tend to rattle around, but that's a very minor thing. The workmanship on this product is outstanding, and i will go to this brand in the future for any additional tools.

Works well because of the fine point it gets in the hard to get to places 🙃. It makes the task easier to do. It looks nice and has a good feel in the hand. I'm very pleased with this product. I do recommend and would buy again if needed.

I am just getting into paracord weaving and required a few tools. At first I bought a cheap set. They looked decent but the fids would not stay on the paracord. Not a quality product so I returned it and ordered this set.This set is higher price but the build quality is much better. Tested out the fid and no problem. Very good quality product and highly recommend not going the cheap route. Cheap garbage is still garbage, this set is very nice. I even ordered an extra set of fids as two of each size it useful
