If your chuck of Dremel is 3mm (1/8 inch) or Universal 3-jaw chuck, then the diamond tip drill bit can be installed directly.
However, it is NOT suitable for machines with 3/32 inch chuck, such as Electric Nail Drill

I e used these only on plastic and my finger nails, but they haven’t taken a notch or anything.I’ve had to file down a split toe nail that went all the way up. The split was catching on socks and very inconvenient. The plastic piece just needed to be lightly sanded but in a deep location. Two of the many head have been used and well.Get size, good collection of varying sizes and shapes. These will last, I’m sure of it. Good quality and very useful for many hobbyist projects (and household needs). Worth the cost.

This should help you get through your projects.I got this set to use for repairing some concrete garden statues. They just needed very small holes drilled to set some pins to hold the broken pieces together. These worked fine for my needs. I don't do a lot of this kind of work, so I cannot say how they will hold up over time.

I actually got these to sharpen my chainsaw chain. I also sharpened the branch pruner. They buzz through tool steel quite nicely. The motor I used is an old battery-powered Dremel which doesn't spin very quickly, but these diamond bits are powerful and removed material very well. Granted they're not *fast* because of the small diameter, but they work well for my needs.More importantly, the bits are balanced and centered. When spinning, they don't vibrate or wobble, so the cut is very clean and accurate.I used one bit for all the sharpening and it still has some life left, so this box will last quite a while.

Got these to play around with some granite pieces I'm trying to use for a mosaic and wanted something to carve them with. These do the trick! Pretty small but that makes them easier to control. I used one for a long time carving out a line on granite and marble and it still kept going easily. Love that the set comes with so many, but so far the first one has really held up well. I put substantial pressure on it to test it out and it held up really well. Case they come in is really handy as well. Recommend!

30 bits seems like a person won't need replacement bits for a very long time but how long these bits will last will depend on the speed, pressure applied, whether the bit is lubricated and/or cooled, the amount of time spent in drilling/resting the bit, the degree of hardness of the material being drilled, the size of the hole, the thickness of the material. In short, there's no way of telling how long these bits will last or how they will compare to comparable bits offered by another manufacturer. They need to be considered a consumable rather than a tool accessory. I think that's probably why the manufacturer has included so many bits in the package. At fifty cents (USD) per bit, using up 10 bits for a total cost of $5 in order to complete a special project or even using up the entire package to make an item of artistic merit sounds like a very reasonable expenditure to me.

But it's unfair to give a bad review, since I didn't look carefully. I wanted diamond drill bits to put holes in old mugs to turn them into planters. But these are not the right kind. I'm still glad to have them, as I'm sure they'll be useful for other things, but don't get them if you want to put holes in pottery.

This is an excellent set of diamond bit grinding tools. It will fit a smaller rotary tool, and each one is precision tipped for maximum utility.I think one would be hard pressed to find 30 of anything carrying the Dremel brand, certainly not at the very reasonable price of this set. These are the kinds of bits that you can expect to pay a premium for, and it's a pleasant surprise to find something this useful at this price.Recommended.
