If I've worked a pool or stretch of water with dries, nymphs, dry-droppers, and streamers without a single hit, but I *know* there are trout in there, sometimes I tie one of these on out of frustration. Inevitably it catches a fish, when nothing else works. Any "fly fishing purist" knows that these are cheating...but if you're not a purist, then what the hell. I've caught a couple of 18" brutes on these, when I've gone through my entire fly box with no luck. (P.S. Cut off the stupid second 'stinger' hook -- a violation of regulations in many wild trout streams -- or just remove the whole fly and attach a wooly bugger.)

Solids lures. Caught several fish on each color. Need to buy more since I’ve lost a few. Fair pricing too.

These work when all else but worms work. It is tough to trump Mother Nature. These are not the most durable of lures but VERY productive. These are a very light weight lure so don't expect to be able to cast them very far especially if you are using any line more then 4# test. I use these in small stream where they are ideal. I have purchased these many times and they are quite consistent in quality and productivity.

Trout really do love these; I used these on opening day and caught a 15" rainbow trout on my 3rd cast. However, I also lost two large fish (1.5-2lb) when the hooks broke as the fish were leaping or thrashing. I will use them again on smaller waters where the trout are more likely to be in the 1lb range. Also, this does not cast well due its extreme light weight. If you are using anything heavier than 4lb test, forget about it. Overall, a great choice for ultralight tackle and smaller fish.

These catch a lot of fish. Only downside is they are very light. Need to run no more than 4 weight line.I tend to drag them behind my kayak... Good lures, esp. for stocked trout, pan fish, small mouth bass etc. When other stuff isn't working, this is.

Tore 'em up at the trout pond the weekend I got these. This is my go-to lure for trout when you're just looking to get some action. I also caught several on the Chattahoochee River in GA one late summer afternoon in my kayak. It works best pulling it along a slight current, running it by logs and rocks, etc. In a pond I put a sinker about 18" off the lure on the line. It works best a foot or so under the water, not on top. Good luck!

No. 2 de cucharilla, me parece atractivo y espero que funcione bien para pesca de truchas medianas para riachuelos de difícil acceso donde pescar con mosca puede ser complicado.
