Very stable and lightweight. like that the tripod supports both my bridge camera and my iPhone. The height is very easy to adjust and it is very easy to rotate my bridge camera or iPhone to the proper direction.

Works great, for my four pound zoom lens. One of the feet didn't screw in correctly, the other two were a breeze. droping the legs were a little clunky, but for the price, an overall nice product. I like the ease of changing the positions of the camera mount.

Love this tripod - the legs are metal. They give you two camera-attach plates instead of one - which is very helpful. And there is a hook to hang your backpack or studio sandbag, which adds to the pod's stability. I usually have to jerry-rig this hook for windy field work so I appreciate this attention to detail. Also, they have designed the rig to allow any head (with a 3/4 inch bold) to attach. So if you have a fluid head, it will work with these legs. I wish the crankshaft was also metal and not plastic ... but I quibble - for the price, this is a super-value tripod - ideal for the new light DSL cameras.

This item is a surprising good tripod for lightweight use at an exceedingly good price. Having liquidated two heavy duty Vanguards and the weightly DSLRs I used professionally for almost twenty years I was looking for a light, inexpensive unit to replace the unneeded Vanguards. As stated elsewhere I was incredulous regarding the use of a tripod in this price range, but I'm pleasantly pleased. The overall build is good for the cost and functions as promised. There is a handy built in grip for easy carry, a clearly visible level, and the tilt head came with two camera baseplates. Even $200 Vanguards don't offer the grip or the extra baseplate. I expect it will prove a good light use tripod with lightweight equipment or cell phone. Unless you abuse it, it should last long enough. It is also quite compact, which is an added plus. Of course there are features it doesn't offer but they aren't deal breakers for most of us. All said, two thumbs up.

Many years ago, I had a tripod that had easy leg releases. Had this particular tripod for years, but could not find an adequate replacement until now. The Joilcan is a very worthy update. The Joilcan's price belies its quality. I was surprised with how solid the construction is. The pan head moves with ease and easily handles my Sony a6700 camera. I can also use another plate for my iPhone 16 Pro if need be.My favorite feature are the quick flip locks on the legs. My film shoots are usually done quickly as the actors are only available for a short time. I needed a tripod that allows me to setup fast and this Joilcan does the job. I was tired of unscrewing each and every dial on my old tripod to adjust that tripod. This is a very pleasant surprise and a good purchase. Just might buy a secondary Joilcan.

I purchased this for my cameras as well as my laser levels. It works great for both. Folds into three sections, is light, sturdy and I like the colour too. The legs are "quick release" which makes each easy to lengthen and shorten quickly. The ends of the legs have a thick rubber soul which gives them traction on smooth surfaces.

The tripod is well designed and has several useful features. For the price I think it is a good value although if you're looking for a heavy duty tripod that will last for years, you'd be better off paying a bit more for one. Other than the aluminum legs, everything else is plastic and it just feels a bit flimsy. I think it would work well for use with a camera phone, but I suspect my digital SLR might prove to be a bit heavy for it. I'm happy with the purchase, though, and if I decide to upgrade I will definitely consider a sturdier model from the same brand.

I've been using this tripod for almost a year and I'm very happy with it. It's very portable in its carrying bag and VERY lightweight (could be a pro or a con depending on your usage). There are a lot of adjustments you can make to the tripod and its attachments to make it work for you. At its full height, with my camera mounted, it sits perfectly at my eye level (I am about 5'5"). I have had no issues with it and I recommend it to my fellow photographers looking for an affordable tripod option.

I bought this tripod for a heavy spotting scope. If you do not touch it at all while looking through the scope, it will stay put. I did not use it for any camera of phone but it came with two mounting plates. The thinner section of the legs is too flimsy to be used with it extended but the rest if enough.
