It messed up my door because the thing locked us out multiple times lol it doesn’t function well with all the gadgets. It looks good but very hard to handle. I don’t think it’s worth the value. I had to take that thing off and put my old knob on. It’s so complicated and kept on locking up and not opening. Imagine you’re being chased and can’t get in the house because of a door handle like no !

The thumb turn is on a spring and can be pulled out from its setting in the door handle. For a while it was free spinning but after I took it apart I realized the locking mechanism was misaligned and it was easy to fix, but the thumb turn could possibly get misaligned again if someone pulls on it.Other than that the handle seems sturdy. It is heavier than I expected and solid feeling.

The product didn't have the deadbolt, so I scheduled the return next day. However the return will cost about $9 which is terrible given the price of the product. Amazon shouldn't allow it make a clear disclaimer about the returns upfront.
