The price was great for a pair of these clamps...I already own some and was looking to get a couple more. my local hardware didn't have them in stock and (generally they are about 39.00 each) I decided to look on Amazon. Wow, getting two for less than the price of one was a bargain. I like the hold of these, the quality is great and for my needs as a woodworker they do the job. The mechanism takes a bit of getting used to but once you get used to how they work, I think you will appreciate having them in your clamp collection. Not workable one handed but I still like the holding power and the ability to clamp various thickness material to my bench or portable work table.

I like these Jorgensen "ratchet clamps" They are a metal, not a plastic clamp that is amazingly strong. They adjust quickly and powerfully. They have a more power than the plastic "quick clamps" and can really put some pressure on if the need arises. The "ratchet" part has a lot of "travel" to it that I find is not necessary most of the time, but it's there if you need it. The rubber cover on the clamp ends actually stays on. A good value and well built.

Quality clamp. A bit different, so there are advantages and disadvantages. I like these clamps. The disadvantage is that the grip mechanism can get interfered with if it’s facing the piece. Also, you have a limited clamping range once the jaws engage the material, so if you want to use the clamp to move something more than a few inches, you might need to use two clamps alternating. Still, I really like these clamps.

It was like having a third and fourth hand while building my fence. I started with my quick-grip clamps but they weren't strong enough for some of the larger boards. Picked these up and the easily did the job and gave become my go-to clamps for all sorts of projects. I already picked up a smaller clamp for the more compact jobsThis is easy to recommend because you'll use them all the time, or at least I do.

These are great. I have many types of clamps in the workshop and I never regret buying quality ones.

I had such high hopes. It seems like the paint chipped on the bar and causes the clamp not to bind up properly so they won't hold. It's very frustrating. I wanted these to be good so bad. I'm very upset. Idk maybe you'll have better luck but mine keep falling off after I tighten them on anything. Jorgenson should add the normal binding tabs like on the other type clamps so these hold wherever you put them rather than counting on friction alone to hold.

Got these clamps because the "squeeze grip to tighten" ones don't always grip as hard as I need them to and their pads often slide out. These can clamp down tight; perfect for solidly holding an item while sanding without slippage or marring. With that said, the problems I did have with them include:- They are not easy to operate one-handed;- They can release very easily especially if they are not aligned perfectly;- Very hard to align and grip tightly if operating with one-hand.All in all, they do the job they are designed to do. I like that they can grip tightly but I find them more frustrating to use. Given the option, I would not buy them again.

Easy to use and provides a good clamping force.
