Pre-covid, I rode a Peloton bike at the gym every other day for a little over a year. I loved it and it made me love to workout, which I never really liked before. But, covid hit and my gym closed and I didn't want to pay that much money for a bike. After a very long period of no riding, I decided to buy the Cyclace bike. It was great in the very begginging and started making so many squealing sounds and I had to adjust things and grease things regularly and it would still be so loud. The sound was driving me and my family crazy. I eventually sent back that bike and bought this one. I haven't had it for long, but it is just a shockingly good bike. It is very close to the Peloton in smoothness of the belt, flywheel and resistance feel. I only have a couple of issues and they are small/or can't be helped in a bike at this price range. Here they are:Handlebars: I am 5'11" with long arms and normally wouldn't even notice if something was not maybe the best for a shorter person. But, I think it is noticeable on this bike. The handlebars are set in a way that if I have the seat in the place it us supposed to be for my leg height and seat placement where it should be for my thigh length, the handlebars are about a half an inch too far away (see pic...I have it set as close to the seat as posssible). It is not a huge deal to me, but someone with shorter arms may struggle a bit. The handlebars are also a bit wider set than they other two bikes I have used. But, it has these inner bars set at an angle that I really like to use when I am in the saddle. The other thing is that instead of an iPad holder on the handlebars, it has two drink holders. I use it for my iPad anyway, but had to use two small bungee cords to secure it in place so it wouldn't fall during the more intense rides.Resistance: the Cyclace bike had felt resistance pads and I really disliked that. It made a rubbing sound and I knew after I decided to send it back, I would get a bike with magnetic resistance. This bike has that and it is very smooth and can give you as heavy resistance as you could need (our of the saddle too). My only issue is that the resistance starts heavier than the other two bikes. Not too heavy, just I never would have that feeling of my legs just flailing. Which normally doesn't matter, but sometimes at the end of a cool down, I really like to open it up. But, it isn't a big deal. But, the bigger issue to me is how many cranks it takes to get from the lower resistance levels to the higher ones. It feels like the resistance doesn't change that much for several turns and then it heats up pretty quickly. This makes some intervals a little harder when you go out of the saddle with high resistance and then a quick seated recovery. But, I am getting used to it and I am wondering if the company may know of some little tweaks. I haven't reached out to them.All in all this is a really awesome bike. It is so quiet, so smooth and very sturdy. There is no sqeaking and squealing so far. I really hope it stays that way. Peloton is nearly perfect for me, but this bike is so close behind it. When you factor in the cost of both bikes, it is a no brainer to go this route, at least if you are a thrifty person like me.I am so happy with this purchase! The only thing that could make it better is a resistance output, but at this price range, you just wont find that. I use my heart rate to guide resistance.Some things that I use to make the spin experience of even better is:Peloton app (12.99 per month without the bike. Worth it!)Wahoo cadence tracker (it displays on the Peloton app and is so easy to attach to your pedal arm)Spd pedals and clip in shoes (to me it is a must after starting at first with regular shoes).Fitbit- I set it to spinning and use it to watch my heart rate. It really helps to guide how intense I set my resistance.I also use a TV tray next to the bike to hold my a small fan, my weights and my water. It works great and you can just tuck it away when your done (see pic).I also didn't purchase a mat and it works great on hard floors. I do keep a small rug next to it so when I get on a off, I don't scratch the floor with the clips. I leave my bike in the same place, so I don't know how easy it would be to move it around, but it has the wheels on the front.That is it. If you are on the fence, I would absolutely recommend it. If anything changes, I will update my review.

I have been attending spin classes at the gym for about 8 years, so I've been spoiled riding $2000 commercial grade bikes like the Keiser M3. I wasn't sure what to expect for $400, but this is a very nice bike. It's built like a tank, very solid. It's easy to adjust the seat to find a comfortable position, the flywheel is pretty smooth and quiet, and there are places for my phone and water bottle on the handlebars.It wasn't too hard to assemble, I did it by myself in about 45 minutes. I have SPD shoes, so I immediately replaced the pedals that came with the bike - but these pedals are pretty standard for this price range.There are really only two things I miss about the high-end bikes at the gym, compared to this one:* On some high end bikes, the resistance is controlled with a simple lever, and you can see the numeric resistance level on the display - on this bike you have a knob to crank, and it takes quite a few cranks to go from very light to very heavy resistance. But again, I think all bikes in this price range are designed this way.* The display computer is ok - but I would prefer RPMs instead of MPH, wish it had a backlight if I darken the room, and I wish it showed a numeric resistance level. This is one area they could improve without significantly increasing the cost.All that said, I am still enjoying the bike - I can get a great smooth, comfortable, fun fitness ride at home, in and out of the saddle. Customer service is friendly and responsive too, I sent them these suggestions for improvement and they extended my warranty to 18 months.

Das Bike kam sehr gut verpackt an, alle Teile waren OK! Ich bin von der Verarbeitungsqualität begeistert! Sehr präzise gefügte Teile, wahrscheinlich lasergeschweißt, absolut robustes Gestell und gute Lackierung (Pulverbeschichtung). Die Montage geht auch alleine recht einfach. Schraubensicherungslack an den Pedalen ist ein zu nennendes Detail. Das mitgelieferte Werkzeug ist tauglich, aber holt euch doch besser einen extra Kreuzschlitzdreher.. Unebenheiten des Untergrundes lassen sich mit Stellrädchen ausgleichen. Alle Teile wirken sehr wertig! Man muss keine Angst haben, mal einen Sprint im stehen hinzulegen ohne das Bike zu schrotten! Durch die vorn montierten Transportrollen lässt sich das Bike gut bewegen.Kleine Mankos gibt es lediglich bei dem recht unflexiblen Lenker - er bietet nicht viele Griffoptionen und ist für meinen Geschmack etwas zu weit vorn und ziemlich hart - mit Gummi beschichtet. Da werde ich wohl mal wieder zum guten alten Lenkerband greifen! Die Getränkehalter am Lenker sind nicht nutzbar, wenn man ein Tablet zum Training verwendet. Der mitgelieferte "Computer" ist etwas ungünstig angebaut, wenn man mal die Batterien tauschen muss - allerdings weiß ich nicht wie lange die Batterien halten. Wenn Sie ein Jahr halten, ist diese Kritik nicht gerechtfertigt. Der Sattel ist für ein Speedbike völlig OK! Wer einen Rennradsattel kennt, wird diesen von Joroto als äußerst komfortabel empfinden! Es kann aber auch ein anderer Sattel montiert werden.Für mich als Neuling etwas unverständlich ist die Leistungsangabe in Prozent. Nutzt man das Bike bspw. mit Kinomap wird dort die Leistung in Stufen (Stufe 1 bis 10?) angegeben. Und nein, ich glaube nicht dass die Stufen von 1 bis 10 10%-Schritten entsprechen - das wäre ein zu heftiger Tretwiderstand! Es ist für mich aber nicht sonderlich störend. Mittlerweile schaue ich bei Kinomap auf das Tempo und die Steigung, und trete einfach schneller in die Pedale. Das passt schon!Wirklich cool wäre jedoch eine automatische Leistungsanpassung des Bikes anhand dessen was Kinomap vorgibt - das funktioniert aber leider nicht.Auch sind leider keine Pulssensoren am Lenker verbaut und es ist auch sonst kein Anschluss am Computer dafür vorgesehen. Da muss wohl ein Brust oder Armpulsmesser mit Bluetooth her (25€ sind jetz aber auch erschwinglich, wie ich finde), den man mit einer App koppelt. Ich habe den Moofit-Sensor gekauft und der ließ sich über die "SET" Taste easy mit dem Computer koppeln, obwohl die Anleitung ist diesbezüglich keine Hilfe ist. Den Punkt hat man irgendwie ausgelassen..Alles in allem finde ich, dass das Joroto x4s ein super Speedbike ist, mit kleinen Abstrichen. Ich habe dieses Gerät für knapp 640€ im Angebot erworben und ich finde den regulären Preis von 799€ noch gerechtfertigt, wenn auch das Bike dafür wenigstens eine Pulsfunktion mitbringen sollte! Grundsätzlich finde ich, könnte bei dieser Preisklasse schon etwas mehr in Richtung Android gemacht werden als weiter auf diese altmodischen Fahrradcomputer zu setzen. Ein Handy hat doch schließlich jeder, oder?Zuvor hatte ich ein Skandika Vinneren für 499€ gekauft. Das war im Vergleich zum Joroto sehr viel schlechter. Optisch sehr schlechte Schweißnähte, ein klappriges Gestell und von Ruhe kann man da nicht reden. Das machte ziemlich Krach für meine Begriffe.Achso, puncto Geräuschpegel! Das Joroto x4s ist so leise, das glaubt man nicht! Das ist echt so gut wie nicht zu hören!Zum Schluss noch ein paar wichtige Angaben zu der Nutzergröße: Ich bin 190cm groß und wiege 110kg und das Fahrrad macht dennoch einen super stabilen Eindruck. Ich denke aber viel größere Leute können damit nicht mehr trainieren. Meine Frau (168cm) hat mit dem Bike auch keine Schwierigkeiten bis auf die Sache mit dem Lenker, aber es geht.Ich würde es wieder kaufen!Schön, falls ich helfen konnte!Nachtrag am 10.04.23: Ich nutze das Bike immer dann, wenn das Wetter mal nicht mitspielt, es macht nach wie vor viel Spaß! Allerdings nutze ich Kinomap nicht mehr, weil mich diese app wahnsinnig gemacht hat mit dem ständigen anbinden des Browsers, Verbindungabbrüche etc. Ich war mehr mit der blöden App beschäftigt, als mit dem Training.Das Display ist bei mir gut ablesbar.Mein heißer Tipp: Es gibt auf Youtube jede Menge sehr geile Cycling Touren in 4K, teils auch mit Telemetrieanzeige. Das macht richtig Laune! einziger Nachteil ist, dass es keine Kopplung zum Bike gibt, aber ehrlich, dass ist völlig egal! Man ist nach ein paar Minuten völlig "drin" im Video und radelt so mal locker ne Stunde mit. Da gebe ich für den Videodownload in 4K sehr gern 11,99€ für YT Premium aus und das werbefrei! Wozu kinomap für diese mMn. schlechte App 11,99€ in den Rachen werfen? Aber das ist nur meine Meinung!!!

So this is the newer, updated version of the bike with added resistance value, RPM, watt function, increased block magnetic resistance and can be now used with the Kinomap program. I didn't have the older version but as my first bike this has everything I need. I love it. :)I use the bluetooth function with Zwift as I like the app, but the bike was easy to set up and is easy to use and really comfortable. A lot of people said to me even though it's my first bike, don't go super cheap as they can be really uncomfortable, but I've found the seat on this surprisingly easy to get used to considering I'm not a cyclist at all.The value for money is amazing, they did have an offer on when I bought it so was even cheaper but I will say, definitely pay Amazon for their unpacking service as it's very heavy, but that does mean it's sturdy.All the features are super helpful, it's very quiet and I'm struggling to know what more you'd want from a bike. Definitely better than a Peloton!

After reading and watching many positive reviews of the JOROTO X2, I decided to take the leap and go all out with the JOROTO X4S. I felt that the X4S had improvements over the X2 and trusted that all of the goodness of the X2 would still be with the X4S which I feel that they are. I wanted to avoid a bike with the built in screen as I would prefer just to use my iPad, the X4S is well setup to accommodate this and it appears to be an improvement over the X2. The display shows the necessary basic functions and again is just a step up from the X2 display.In my opinion the X4S is a sleeker looking bike than many others out there, which doesn't help performance, but certainly helps if its going to be left out on display. The quality of the build and materials are top notch. The system is so quiet, the only thing I can hear is my racing heart and general lack of fitness (which I am working on). Assembly was simple and done in about half an hour - very similar to the YouTube videos of the X2.My dealings with Joroto via email were positive. At 6'2" I feel comfortable on the bike and there is still adjustment available (the kids were the last to use it which is why the seat is down). As somebody just looking to improve fitness and loose weight I find this bike perfect and great value for the money.

I could not be happier with this spinning bike. I did a ton of research before deciding on this specific bike. Arrived quickly and very well packaged. Very easy to assemble. Extremly smooth ride. Tension is great. Very quiet...virtually no sound. No wobbles or movement when riding. Seat is comfortable. Even pedal cages work extremely well. Quality of this bike surpassed my expectations. Shorter than most of the quality spinning bikes so fit perfectly in my smaller space. If you are hesitating buying this bike, don't. You won't be disappointed. I didn't need or want a big screen. I use my iPad. The support rest holds it tightly.
