Planting your Crested Gecko enclosure with tropical plants is both visually appealing and a great way to simulate a natural environment for your pet. These animals love climbing and enjoy plants with wide leaves and sturdy stalks that can support their weight.
Plant Varieties
We’ve selected a handful of plants for this kit that are considered basic, easy to care for plants that should thrive in your crested gecko vivarium.
We cannot promise any specific variety of plants with this special package, however, all plants will come labeled with their names and will be well-suited for your crested gecko vivarium
Plant Safety
Dieffenbachia and Philodendron are only toxic if eaten. Crested geckos are omnivores in that they eat insects and fruits; however, they do not eat plants or stems in the wild. Therefore these plants are safe to be with them.
The draping nature of philodendron is excellent for creating a crowded and natural hide in the corner or side of a tank, and diffenbachia is a great plant for both vertical and horizontal cover.

Plants arrived in great condition, nice and green and alive! They are perfect size and are perfect for my lizards! I cannot wait to plant them in my terrarium :) I suggest these plants 100%

The guys/gals over at Josh's frogs really know what they're doing. All six of the plants I had ordered came in super healthy and vibrant even though it's in the low 30's here in Pennsylvania. The heat pack they provided kept my plants warm and strong and look absolutely brilliant in my gecko tank.

Plants arrived alive, one better than the other. The instructions clearly tell you to wait an additional 2 weeks BEFORE planting so I’m not too worried that the one that’s not looking so good, makes a full recovery. Overall pretty cool looking variety of plants, by the way you only get (2) plants. The size is small “fairy†style which is what I wanted. As far as moisture level goes, I’ll just tie that into shipping…. The shipping is done with the red,white and blue trucks, and they don’t care, don’t provide accurate tracking updates and they take FOREVER. That being said, both plants moisture level was basically zero by the time I received them. The packaging was very good though. As for the value of these plants, honestly they’re pretty dang pricey. Moving forward I’ll just do the research next time on live reptile plants and I’ll probably outsource them locally. All in all, the plants survived shipping and will more than likely do just fine and flourish in their new home. 4 stars is specifically due to shipping. If possible, my recommendation is to pay for expedited shipping. Hope this helps!

Could not give enough stars! Healthy, beautiful plants that arrived SO FAST and in perfect condition! They were clearly packaged and handled with so much care — it’s very cold in New England right now and they even put a small heating pack on the inside so the plants would stay warm on the shipping journey! It is very clear and apparent how much these guys care about the quality of their products and the fulfillment of their customers. 10/10 will be ordering from again.

I ordered on a Thursday and received it on Saturday (I live in southern Indiana). Both plants came neatly individually wrapped and the box was the right size to prevent too much shifting.When ordering I just listed the size of my crested gecko bioactive vivarium and they picked plants to match. Yes I googled the plant types.Will order again.

The plants look great, little small but hopefully they grow fast. Shipping was a lot faster than it said so that was a great bonus. Overall would recommend. When I building my next few bioactive terrariums I'll definitely buy more from here.

Ordered them on the 7th, arrived at my house on the 8th. All plants look great, wish there was a little more color, but I plan on grabbing more plants in the future for my crested. Might be a while before they're big and strong enough to handle him climbing on everything but we'll get there.

Per the photo of the item, I was expecting multiple plants per order... But each order is only one plant. I was a bit disappointed to find only two plants in my order of two kits. The plants were healthy and are now thriving, despite my neglect the first week (lamp forgotten, light woefully inadequate). But they recovered very nicely and are thriving now.
