Why double wall and what is borosilicate glass:

I've had these for a couple of weeks and they meet all expectations so far. They stay cool, they hold a double shot, they look very nice and they're easy to clean. I'm hand cleaning just because i'm cautious. My dishwasher doesn't have a heat cycle so I'm sure these would be fine. They look very nice. There is a divot on the bottom of each where they were sealed (and presumably had the air pulled out), but I haven't noticed any issues with that.These would make great whiskey glasses too, assuming you're a sipper. It would keep the whiskey from being warmed by your hands, which would be a good thing.

Loving my new espresso cups. The day after arrival they worked perfect for my double shots. They sit perfectly under the machine and are durable. They clean easily and dry fast.

These are nice little 3 oz glasses for pulling a double shot and having a little room for comfort or to add cream, sugar or milk. I've read other reviews to know to be gentle with these and hand wash them.One thing to note, both glasses have a little possible imperfection between the double walls. These little divots are maybe just part of the manufacturing process, but the product photos do not show the divots, so I thought I would mention it. They don't cause any problem using the glasses, and I don't expect that it would be an issue in the future with one of the walls fracturing and allowing water in, has some reviewers have experienced. But for the price, these are nice little glasses that do the job well for however long.

I admit upon first receipt, I was a bit unsure if I would like these: they were very light in weight, and I was not appreciative of the brand name blazoned on the bottom of the glass. But through use, these turned out to be perfect: sits well, pleasing to look at, stays cool with freshly brewed espresso from a moka pot.

I bought a second set of these cups as a back-up to a set I use every day. These are excellent double-walled espresso cups and I highly recommend them

These espresso cups work exactly as they should. They hold more than a shot of espresso, so there's no worry that they will overflow. Even though the espresso is very hot, the double wall construction makes those comfortable to hold. Even after freshly brewing the espresso, they were not too hot to hold.

I began building an espresso bar this past Christmas. These glasses were ones that were recommended on another site, and are well worth the purchase. They keep the espresso hot inside, while being able to be held with bare fingers. The outer walls stay cool to the touch.They are easy to clean. I use them for measuring my espresso beans, and then dispensing espresso shots into.A great addition to any espresso bar.
