After fifteen years of searching for truly high-rise shorts (and no, I don't think high-rise means coming up to an inch and a half below my navel) I have finally found a pair that actually comes up to my waistline and stays there. What this means is that I no longer have my tummy popping over the top edge of my shorts, and I no longer have to keep pulling up the waistband when I'm doing yoga because the waistband keeps working its way down my hips.As for fit: I am just shy of 5'6" tall, and I weigh between 130 and 135, depending on water weight. My waist is between 29 and 39" and my hips between 39 and 40". I purchased the Small, and it fits very comfortably. When I first took it out of the bag, I thought I wouldn't be able to squeeze into it, but it's very stretchy. The fabric is light-weight but with good coverage (although I did get Black, which helps).The stitching looks sturdy and everything seems well put together. I'm interested to see how much hard wear these shorts will endure, and how long the crotch seams last before starting to split apart.And yes, the waist-band stays up when I move around. The "acid test" is moving from a standing forward bend to a full standing stretch with hands over my head-- this is the yoga move which usually sends the lower-rise waistbands moving down my hips the fastest.Whoever designed these shorts is brilliant, and is meeting the fashion needs of so many women with curvy figures, for whom low-rise pants, leggings, and shorts just don't work. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I love the softness of the material that these are made of! They’re super stretchy and will last me awhile during my pregnancy. They stay up rather well, along with providing plenty of room!

Love the fact there’s pockets. Preggo leggings tend to lack pockets. I’ve worn these for a long time through the pregnancy and now that I’m 34 weeks I’m still pretty happy with them. I’m sure they’ll come in handy postpartum with my flabby belly. They are thick and not see through at all. Very stretchy. Good stitching. I’m happy

My favorite thing about these shorts are the length and the rise. I high rise waist line is very flattering, and helps me to feel comfortable in running in just a sports bra on a hot day. The biker length is also nice because it prevents my thighs from chafing doing a those long runs. Overall, the look is flattering and would go well with several sporty looks.The only thing I'd mention is that they were a tad big on me. I am 5'8" and 148 lbs, and the small feels just a little loose. I may order an extra small the next time around to see how it fits.That said, the looseness isn't enough to bother me and I'm happy with this purchase.

These are some of the best biking shorts I have found for my body hands down and I'm not just talking about on Amazon. I'm including every place that I have shopped for biker shorts. I'm 5'7" 144lbs with 31" waist and between 41-42" hips (can't remember). Based on reviews I purchased both a small and medium. The medium was almost baggy and the small fit perfectly. Therefore, they do run big as you can see by my measurements. I am 16lbs heavier due to medical issues and didn't want to purchase expensive new workout clothes now that i have been diagnosed and on the right path medically. Now to the shorts. There is NO seam at the waist. None of those bands that dig into your waist. Think of the more expensive brand Aligns or All the Right Places waist. The same. That alone was enough for me. But they are also buttery soft. The material is a cross between the two examples i provided. I literally went to my closet to compare. These fit me wonderfully. These do not provide compression which works for me. That way I can how my weight loss is going since im no longer going to use a scale (too traumatic). These are a aging and i wish they sold them in more colors so I could purchase more. Navy and a black camo would be awesome!Oh, I did include photos that show the fit with my measurements. I am not sucking in my stomach. So you getting a real life view.

I had never owned a pair of biker shorts before but will now always buy these! No need to try any other kinds. They are high waisted and have enough compression to hold everything in and stay put while working out, but also stretchy and soft enough that I love wearing these for day to day casual wear. I am a former athlete and do not like thick materials that are not breathable when working out- these, however, passed the test! I am 5’8 and a small fit me perfectly; it’s even the perfect length on my thigh! The black is so flattering but I also plan on trying the other colors. Unbelievable quality for such a good price!!

I got my accurate size, but it was too large. I would size down! They are about 8-10†in length and I realized too late I didn’t like it. The material is fine and so is the color, but overall I would not buy it again

Loved these so much I bought a second pair! They are super comfortable, pockets are amazing, and not see through. True to size for body figure.
