READ THIS BEFORE YOU BUY: Sizes are misleading. The amazon site has a table where it tells you what size to buy (for the NPT side). I measured with a caliper and the size is exactly 1/2 inch. BUT ACCORDING TO THE TABLE, you need to buy the 1/4. Sure enough I bought the 1/4" for NPT and those fit perfect (even when the size is 1/2"). AMAZING. READ THE TABLE.

For the money, it's not a bad purchase. I had a single purpose for them, so when the first one broke, I tossed it because the kit comes with multiple. If I needed a stronger setup, I would have bought a brass barb setup instead. It did the single job I needed it for.

These fittings are nice and fit the way you would expect. Use caution with them because the 1/4 inch side breaks easily with any sort of rough handling. Even though the fitting doesn't take rough handling, it does what it was designed to do and I recommend them is you determine they meet your needs.

No problems, a little plumber's grease and the hose slipped on easily enough. Without grease and it was somewhat tougher. Seems like it is built well and not flimsy.

90 lbs opened them up. I don’t recommend this for air hoses. Waste of $.
