This Speedo Leak Seak Kit fits speedo housings designed for 34-39 and 40-45 tooth speedo gears. It will stop the leak where the speedo cable connects to the transmission. Includes outer o-ring, inside rubber gear seal and spring retainer clip to stop leaking at your speedometer housing. Please check you part number before placing an order.

Worked great on my 1974 TH400. I also replaced the plastic speedometer drive gear as the shaft was grooved in the seal area.

This kit was excellent. An exact fit for my TH 400. All the worry of it not fitting from previous writing is not true. At least for me an exact fit !!! Used it and had no issues. Leak gone. Thanks for you product.

Could simply be my case, O ring seems a bit oversized. Internal seal was absolutely perfect, new retaining ring was nice to have.

my speedometer cable was leaking from the TH 400 transmission and i did get it fixed after i got the repair kit , fit just right and i'll order from JSP IF I need any more parts like the , local stores didn't even have a source for these parts , thank you JSP BRAND .

The large O-ring is way too big, I saw other reviews saying this but I skimmed by them. That was a mistake. Now I still have a leaking speedo cable and am on the search for correct gasket kit.

The smaller inner seal was the correct size, the larger outer seal was too big(diameter). Luckily the inner seal was the one that needed replacing, it worked perfectly. no more leak. Maybe i ordered the wrong kit ?

Easy fix There is a lot of oil coming out and fast when you pull the bullet out. Be ready
