This type of exterior light is a fairly tried and true layout used by a lot of lights.It appears to be a copy of a common commercial light with an aluminum housing and heat combo.It's made well enough to work fine.This style is a lot tougher than various wide flat combo LED panels that are common these days.Those are not very durable out in the wind, etc but this is kind of a brick so it's not going anywhere.ProsQuite bright for the size.3 power settings of 45/60 and 75 gives good options and we can set it to 60W to keep it cooler.3 color tint options via a hardware switch.Rain tight gasket, (not waterproof, rain tight).Directions are in English with normal sentences.Wide input voltage range of 120-277V AC.There are 2 wires for remote 0-10V brightness settings, although it's not clear how that interacts with the low/med/high switch.Not ideal:There's no switch for day/night mode but we could unplug it internally if needed.There's no off switch, but it's intended that we have that on the wall anyway.Overall, the hardware quality is better than their assembly quality.Whoever assembles this one left some cut off zip ties in there and stripped out /rounded off most of the phillips screw heads on the internal screws that hold the circuit board and so forth. That won't matter but if it needed servicing than 6 stripped out screws for no reason isn't good.It gets pretty warm on medium power at around 120F running at 60W in 65 degree ambient temp.I wouldn't run it on high at 75W all night unless on a metal building in winter.It's safer and will last longer when running cooler so I'd use the 45 or 60W setting.Overall it's great that we have 3 brightness settings to pick from without having to add a dimmer.It also accepts an external dimmer control if we want remote dimming options.It has several robust mounting and wire routing options by design.Note that this is a different brand than most since it does NOT have an LED driver pack in there like most of them.This one has discrete transistors, diodes and so forth to make DC to run it. It's a well enough made driver board but having the components somewhat exposed (without a metal box around the driver) isn't as durable so it's odd that they didn't just use a DC LED driver pack.This is the only one I've seen with a C-clip to hold the lens housing from coming all the way off.I like the other way better to get the cover out of the way but that's ok.

UPDATE: Impressions in the back casting DO NOT line up with the electrical box. There are slight depressions in the back plate that you drill out if you want to screw this to an electrical box. We just drilled them out assuming they'd work, but they don't line up with anything on the electrical box. We had to grind them inwards about half a screw diameter to make it work.Lights up the porch very nicely, plus also throws some light into the yard.Color temperature is accomplished with 2 sets of LEDs, one set for cold and one for warm. I prefer the middle color under the theory that the LEDs will last longer, but the household prefers cool white so we're going with that.Pulls less power in the middle color mode than in either extreme. In the 75 watt mode, pulls 77 watts in the middle color and 81 watts in the other two. In the 60 mode, 62/65 watts. In the 45 mode, 45/47 watts.Circuit board is aluminum, and glued to the back of the fixture for maximum heat transfer.

Photo cell works great, it turned on as soon as the sun went down. Solid case, easy to drill mounting holes. Figure out where the mounting holes are set on you original light (12 & 6 O'clock or 3 & 9 O'clock), place the sticky foam accordingly and drill you holes (using the phone as a template). My holes did not match up but was easy to drill them where I needed it to be.This has 2 switches inside (two screws at the top need to be loosened to lower the hinged glass cover to access the switches. You can select between 4K (half LEDs lit), 5k (All LEDs lit) or 6K (other half of LEDs lit). I prefer the warmer light so I have it set to 4K. I would rate this 4.5 stars cause I like the warmer light (3K) but this is nice to be able to choose between 4/5/6K. The other switch will lower the brightness if you have this too close to a window and it's too bright.The only really issue I see that's not really a big deal is having to open the cover to get to the switches. Other light have a plug that you can access switches. If you're ok with that and 4k (or 5/6K) color this is a great 5 star option to replace your old halogen flood lights.

The fixture weighs very little and was super simple to install. It is bright enough for a porch or walkway and doesn’t seem to draw a lot of bugs.

A great wall light I love the look It looks very commercial and professional. It is made out of plastic but it is very sturdy plastic and it is well built. Solid feel but not too heavy. I like the options for 45 watt / 60 W / 75 watt so I can control how much electricity I'm using. I get to determine the function. It has a dawn dusk sensor. Easy to install with just the three wires. The wires are quality and no concern there. Definitely worth the price. I have others that are similar but not quite like this and it helps keep everything looking coordinated. It's a very bright light you would find at a commercial building.
