Just the right size for mixing my pizza dough

Its an alright box for dough, but theres a strong smell and worst of all, a bad glue job. glue is noticably at every seam. The issue is, when washing it out, the glue starts to make the water a bit murky so I'm not sure how safe it is to use this box given that the glue will contaminate the water to clean it, what could it be doing to my poolish/dough? is it even a food save glue?

As someone who's been making pizza for the past 12 years, this wooden proofing box is not only beautiful, but allows the dough to rise like there's no tomorrow!I used to use a stainless steel bowl and used a plastic wrap which did just fine, but the wooden proofing dough adds functionality and class into my kitchen. My friends are impressed with the box and leaves no doubt I am serious when it comes to pizza dough!It cleans up well and if done properly, just dusting and wiping off remaining dough is enough. I can't recommend the box enough. If you want to add a bit of pizzazz :-) to your pizza, get it!
