Pro :- Very quiet and powerful machine, solid quality.- Very beautiful stiches and free tears for beginner. I've been tried Singer Pro 5 for 1 month and have trouble almost 5 out of 10 times. This one only need 1 day to learn and you mastered.- It works like charm on all fabric. Brother 1034D is great and more easy to thread compare to this Juki. I find out this Juki makes rolled hems looks thin and light on all fabric include chiffon. Not give it 10/10 but I can give its rolled hems 9/10.- Same easy to use like Brother. Much more reliable compare to Singer Pro 5 sergers and coverstich machine.- Save you lots of time cause you not need to stop for rethreaded.Cons :- 90% of threading is easy But when you need to rethread needles, you will sure need a crewdriver. Supper difficult to thread through the needle hole cause the upper knife stay right at your right hand position so you can not access that way to thread the right needle. I have to take the needle out, threaded, then put it back to the machine with mini crewdriver.Sure take double time to thread compare to Brother 1034D.If you make a lot of rolled hem on chiffon or silk, this one can be good. It functions great on all other fabrics.

The machine does EXCELLENT work in hem stitching BUTTTTT ever since I got it it’s violently shaking and is VERY LOUD! I googled and also did YouTube search for solution to this concerning defect. But there is no source that addresses this issue! I checked the manual book and it’s completely useless when it comes to this issue. Can someone please help me with this? What am I supposed to do? Overlock machines are suooosed to be gentle and not NOISY and INTIMIDATING and RIDICULOUSLY FAST. please help me here.

Ça fait plusieurs mois que j'utilise cette surjeteuse, qui est ma première. J'en suis ravie. Une fois qu'on a l'habitude, l'enfilage est rapide. Un peu plus de tatonnage pour régler la tension des fils, mais les instructions du manuel sont claires et aident beaucoup. La toute première fois, j'ai eu des difficultés à obtenir un bon point et la solution (trouvée sur internet), a été d'emballer les deux bobines d'aiguilles avec les filets fournis. Après ça tout a roulé.Moi qui faisais beaucoup de coutures anglaises, je gagne du temps !
